Omar Cooper Jr., WR (NYJ)

Debut ends early with ankle injury

The Jets ruled out Cooper (ankle) for the remainder of Sunday's game against the Titans.

The rookie first-round pick had been listed as questionable to return after injuring his ankle on the Jets' opening drive, shortly after he gained 30 yards on his first NFL reception to set up a touchdown. The Jets should shed more light on the severity of his injury following the game, but for the time being, Cooper's availability for a Week 2 game against the Packers is uncertain.
