It has been a long offseason, and thankfully it is time to jump all in into the swimming pool that is DFS! Each week, I will highlight my favorite cash game picks that I have some confidence in heading into the weekend to put into my player pools. Week 1 is always nerve-wracking, but we do the best we can, making educated decisions based on history, tendencies, and what we saw in training camp and the preseason.

Quarterbacks
Joe Burrow vs. TB – $8200
Week 1 is always the scariest when it comes to setting that lineup, so why not go more dependable and spend up for Joey B? The Bengals-Bucs game has the highest over/under at 50.5, and we are ready to sit down and watch Burrow sling it. When Burrow is on the field, he delivers and is the only QB with a TD rate of 6% or higher in each of the past two seasons. He has looked great in the preseason and seems to be entering 2026 healthy. The Bengals have a team implied total of 27 (third-highest on the main slate), and all indications suggest a high-flying, up-tempo game.
