Quarterbacks

Baker Mayfield

Baker Mayfield

QB - TB

@ BUF
draft rankings are no longer available for Baker Mayfield

It was really going to take a lot for Baker Mayfield to follow up his QB3 finish from 2024, and while he is not quite on pace for that type of finish this year, he’s still been a solid fantasy QB. Mayfield has been a top-12 QB in six of his nine games played this season, though he’s only scored 20+ fantasy points three times on the year, something he did eight times last season. What’s really been the difference for Mayfield has been his ability to get passes into the end zone. Last season, Mayfield posted a career-high 7.2% TD percentage, which was his career high by a large margin; however, this season that number has dropped to 5.1%.

A matchup against the Bills this week really poses a tough task for Mayfield to raise that TD percentage. Buffalo is one of just six teams in the league that have allowed nine or fewer passing TDs on the season, and of that group, they are the team that’s allowed the fewest total passing yards. For fantasy, that’s translated into one of the matchups that fantasy managers should try to avoid with their QBs. On the season, the Bills have only allowed one top-12 QB finish, which came all the way back in Week 1 to Lamar Jackson. Fantasy managers shouldn’t lose hope in Mayfield, but this week seems like the time to shift away and find a streaming option.

Jordan Love

Jordan Love

QB - GB

@ NYG
draft rankings are no longer available for Jordan Love

Any hope for a bounce-back season for Jordan Love when it comes to fantasy may be quickly fading. Through his first nine games, Love has only finished as a top-12 QB twice, though he did score 20+ fantasy points and still finished outside that mark back in Week 2. The argument for Love being a stronger fantasy option at QB centered around the idea that the Packers would be a more pass-oriented offense this season, and so far, he has seen a slight increase in passing attempts, up three attempts per game from last season. What hasn’t increased is the rate at which Love is throwing TDs. In his last five games, Love has only thrown multiple TDs once.

If tossing TDs is the requirement for Love to be a useful fantasy QB, he’s got a decent matchup to do so this week against the Giants. New York’s defense has allowed the 4th-most passing yards on the season, but are middle of the pack when it comes to allowing TDs through the air. Over their last four games, though, the Giants have allowed opposing QBs to throw more than one TD three times and three top-6 QB finishes. Fantasy managers may have already lost hope in Love’s ability to deliver – or more so their chances of predicting when he is going to be usable for fantasy – but this may be one of the better opportunities to use him as a streamer for the rest of the season.

Despite the hopes that Breece Hall would be traded to a more competitive team at the trade deadline, the reality for fantasy managers is that they are faced with the RB being stuck on a bad team for the remainder of 2025. Despite the awful state of the Jets in general, Hall has found a way to be useful for fantasy rosters, finishing in the top-24 in five games this season, including posting back-to-back finishes as RB6 or better. While New York’s offense isn’t really full of scoring opportunities, Hall is really getting by on pure volume as he is averaging nearly 19 opportunities per game and has seen 20+ in three of his last four games.

An early-week game against the Patriots presents a real challenge for Hall to keep his fantasy success rolling in Week 11. New England’s defense has been one of the best against the run this season, allowing the fewest rushing yards in the league so far this season and just three total rushing TDs. In their last six games, the Patriots have held opposing teams’ RBs under 15 total fantasy points, though they have allowed a top-24 RB finish three times over that stretch. Fantasy managers will likely want to continue riding Hall’s hot hand over the last several weeks, but might need to temper expectations given a tough matchup this week.

Kareem Hunt

Kareem Hunt

RB - FA

draft rankings are no longer available for Kareem Hunt

Another season, another stretch of real fantasy relevance for Kareem Hunt in the Chiefs’ backfield due to injury. While Hunt has been annoyingly involved in the Kansas City offense all season, averaging just under 40% of snaps on the year, since Isiah Pacheco’s injury in their game during Week 8, things have picked up quite a bit for the elder RB. Hunt played 78% of the Chiefs’ offensive snaps before their bye week and notched his second-straight top-20 RB finish. While having an RB in the Chiefs usually is a prescription for fantasy success, Hunt is pretty TD dependent, only finishing with 10+ fantasy points in games where he finds the end zone.

If Hunt gets the lead snaps for Kansas City again this week against Denver, he will have a tough task to produce for fantasy rosters. The Broncos defense is allowing the fewest yards per rush in the league (3.6) and the 7th-fewest rushing TDs on the year. For fantasy, though, Denver hasn’t been as scary a matchup over the last month as they were to start the season, allowing a top-24 RB finish in three of their last four games, including allowing three rushing TDs over their last three games. If Hunt has the backfield to himself again this week, he’s likely a FLEX play with hopes he can fall into the end zone.

Woody Marks

RB - HOU

@ TEN
draft rankings are no longer available for Woody Marks

It feels like the takeover in the Houston backfield is complete with Woody Marks seeing a season-high 81% of snaps in Week 10. Marks has been a solid fantasy asset since Week 4 when the Texans began working him into the offense more, resulting in four top-20 RB finishes over that six week stretch. Where Marks has really added fantasy value has been in the receiving game, adding 13 receptions in his last six games for 137 yards and two TDs. The newest development for Marks in the Houston offense has been the increase in carries around the goal line, where he saw a career-high four carries inside the 20 last week. If Marks is able to take over the short-yardage workload for the Texans, he may completely dominate the RB touches for Houston down the stretch of the season.

Week 11 should be another opportunity for Marks to further cement himself as the preferred fantasy RB to roster in Houston with a strong matchup against the Titans on the menu. The last time Marks played Tennessee, fantasy managers got his breakout game and highest scoring fantasy week of his young season when he finished as the RB8 on the week. The Titans’ defense has allowed the most rushing TDs in the league and the most carries that resulted in 40+ yards on the season. Marks should be considered a strong RB2 play this week with top-10 upside.

It feels like Troy Franklin could really be emerging as the main receiving option in this Denver offense down the stretch of the season. After a relatively slow start to the year, Franklin has been hyper-involved in the Broncos’ passing game over the last month, averaging nine targets per game and turning in three fantasy weeks of 11+ fantasy points. What’s maybe more surprising is that over that stretch, Franklin is out-pacing Courtland Sutton for targets and has caught three more TDs. While it could just be the matchups, at the very least, Franklin has solidified his role in this Denver passing attack.

The bet on Franklin’s strong streak for fantasy to continue meets a tough matchup this week against the Chiefs. Kansas City’s defense has allowed the 5th-fewest passing yards and 3rd-fewest passing TDs on the season. Over their last four games, the Chiefs have only allowed two top-24 WR finishes, though they have given up a TD to an opposing WR in three of those games. If Franklin is going to get back into the top-24 this week, he will either need to get into the end zone or volume his way to another productive fantasy day, but really should be considered a FLEX option given the matchup.

Tre Tucker

Tre Tucker

WR - LV

vs DAL
draft rankings are no longer available for Tre Tucker

After a really productive start to the season, the Jets have cooled off for Tre Tucker’s fantasy value in Las Vegas. Tucker finished as a top-24 WR in two of his first three games this season, including a WR1 overall finish in Week 3 behind 3 TDs. While Tucker has still been involved in the Raiders passing attack, the Las Vegas offense as a whole has been very limited. After the Raiders shipped out Jakobi Meyers ahead of the trade deadline though, Tucker really should be the top WR option in this offense and is only behind superstar TE Brock Bowers in average targets per game this season.

If there’s a game fantasy managers want to bet on pieces of a struggling passing attack, it’s whenever they play the Dallas defense. The Cowboys defense has allowed the 2nd-most passing TDs this season and the 2nd-most passing plays for over 40+ yards. For fantasy, Dallas has allowed at least 20+ points to opposing teams WRs in each of their last 8 games so there should be plenty of opportunity for Tucker to produce again this week. For fantasy managers needing a Monday night miracle, it may be a tough to bet on Tucker given the Raiders offensive struggles, but this matchup is too juicy to not have him in lineups.

Stefon Diggs

Stefon Diggs

WR - FA

It took a little bit, but Stefon Diggs has really started to get rolling in the Patriots’ offense. After a slow start, Diggs has scored 10+ fantasy points in five of his last seven games and caught a TD in each of his last three. While he isn’t the elite fantasy WR that fantasy managers once knew, Diggs is still seeing targets at an extremely high rate. On the season, Diggs ranks 14th in targets per route run, tied with rookie breakout WR Emeka Egbuka on the year. It’s that type of consistency that has really made Diggs a WR that fantasy managers should find hard to keep out of their lineups.

While a matchup with the Jets seems like a prime opportunity for Diggs to really produce for fantasy again, this matchup is trickier to predict than it may appear. New York’s defense has allowed the 6th-fewest passing yards on the season, though they have still allowed 17 passing TDs. For fantasy, the Jets have still given up strong WR fantasy production. Over their last five games, New York has allowed a top-24 WR four times, including three-straight top-12 WR finishes. If Kayshon Boutte is still sidelined with a hamstring injury for Thursday night’s game, Diggs should be in fantasy lineups this week.

Finding a TE who can come in and produce from the trash bin can really give a boost to a fantasy lineup, and that’s what Dalton Schultz has brought to the table recently. Over the last month, Schultz has finished as a top-12 TE in three of his four games, averaging six receptions and 63 yards over that stretch. What’s more encouraging for Schultz’s production is that it has come with both CJ Stroud and Davis Mills at QB, so it isn’t just because there is a backup distributing the ball differently. Maybe the only complaint about Schultz’s resurgence into fantasy relevance has been his lack of TDs, seeing just one red zone target over the last month.

While it may seem like the perfect opportunity, a matchup against the Titans hasn’t been overly friendly for fantasy TEs this season. Tennessee’s defense sits middle of the league in both passing yards and TDs allowed on the year, mainly because they are leading the league in rushing TDs allowed. When it comes to fantasy TEs, the Titans have held opposing teams’ TEs under 10 total fantasy points five times this season, and haven’t given up a top-12 fantasy TE finish in three-straight games and in four of their last five matchups. It may be tempting to play Schultz this week, but fantasy managers may be disappointed in the results if he can’t get into the end zone.

After a blazing hot start to the season, things have really cooled down for Jake Ferguson in Dallas. From Weeks 2 through 7, Ferguson finished as a top-12 TE each week, averaging seven receptions for 51 yards and a TD each game. Since then, Ferguson has a combined 5.5 fantasy points over two weeks. What should be encouraging is that Ferguson isn’t being phased out of the offense, as he had five receptions in their last game against the Cardinals, but lost a fumble, so it really affected his fantasy output.

The Cowboys are back on Monday night this week with what could be a game primed for Ferguson to get back on the right path against the Raiders. While the Las Vegas defense isn’t really one to fear for fantasy pass catchers, they have been really good against fantasy TEs, holding opposing teams’ TEs to under 10 points five times already this season, and have given up a combined four fantasy points over their last two games to the position. In fact, in their last four games, the Raiders haven’t allowed a top-12 TE finish. The only thing that might keep Ferguson in fantasy managers’ lineups is the hope of a high-scoring game, with the highest expected point total of the week in this matchup. If Ferguson can’t right the ship this week though, he may find his way onto fantasy benches until something changes.
