The Fantasy Footballers: Full PPR Mock Draft Recap
The march towards draft season continues for fantasy managers, and what better way to make sure you are absolutely prepared to put a league-winning roster together than to get into a mock draft to fine-tune that draft strategy?
Andy and Jason are taking to the draft room again today to take on their staff, with Andy picking at the 1.05 and Jason at the 1.10.
For this mock draft, we are using the following settings: 12 teams, FULL PPR, 1QB, 2RB, 2WR, 1TE, 1FLEX, and 4 Bench.

Round 1
Andy (1.05) – Christian McCaffrey (RB, SF)
Jason (1.10) – James Cook (RB, BUF)
Andy and Jason each open up their drafts with a top-tier RB from their respective draft spots.
With the fifth-overall pick, Andy takes the third RB off the board in Christian McCaffrey. In a full PPR format, CMC represents one of the few RBs in the league who really benefits from the extra bump per reception. McCaffrey had a whopping 102 receptions last season and could very well be one of the main receiving weapons in San Francisco again in 2026.
Jason also took an RB with his first pick, nabbing James Cook. While Cook does not have the pass-catching profile that usually benefits from a full PPR format, he has been one of the absolute best assets to have on a fantasy roster over the past few seasons, finishing as a top-12 RB each of the last three years. There is hope that Cook may become more involved in the passing game for the Bills, which would only give his fantasy ceiling a boost.
The first round as a whole ended with an even split of WRs & RBs taken, so the PPR boost did not really affect how the draft room viewed the elite players in this draft.
Round 2
Jason (2.03) – Omarion Hampton (RB, LAC)
Andy (2.08) – Drake London (WR, ATL)
The pair of Ballers in this mock draft went in different directions with their second picks.
Jason doubled up on his RB start, taking Omarion Hampton at the 2.03. Hampton is one of the few RBs going outside of the first round who could legitimately end up as the RB1 on the season with a potentially healthy offensive line in Los Angeles and the addition of new Offensive Coordinator Mike McDaniel.
Andy went another direction with his second pick, taking Drake London at 2.08. London is the clear top receiving option in Atlanta’s offense, though there are still concerns around the offense as a whole and what kind of QB play the team will get. Even with the concerns at QB, fantasy managers have seen London produce with lackluster players under center in years past and should continue to be a top-12 option this season.
The second round did see the top two TEs go off the board – Brock Bowers at 2.04 and Trey McBride at 2.06. In a full PPR format, the elite TEs could separate themselves even more than usual, with guys like Bowers and McBride as two of the few guys at the position who could lead their team in targets.
Even with full PPR, we still saw more RBs taken (11) than WRs (10) in this mock draft through two rounds.

Round 3
Andy (3.05) – Josh Allen (QB, BUF)
Jason (3.10) – Garrett Wilson (WR, NYJ)
With his third pick, Andy took a swing at a onesie position, taking Josh Allen at the 3.05. Allen has been the first QB off the board in every Ballers mock draft this draft season, and rightfully so as one of the best bets to return his draft value in all of fantasy.
Jason started addressing his WR room with his third pick, taking Garrett Wilson. After taking a pair of RBs to start the draft, Jason debated between a few WRs here, but ultimately stuck with his rankings and went with Wilson over Tetairoa McMillan and Devonta Smith. This marks the second time in three mock drafts that Jason has grabbed Wilson.
The distribution of WRs and RBs leveled back out in the third round, and surprisingly, no TEs were taken in the round for the second-straight mock draft that the Ballers have done.
Round 4
Jason (4.03) – Tyler Warren (TE, IND)
Andy (4.08) – Luther Burden (WR, CHI)
To kick things off in the fourth round, Jason got back into the TE way, taking Tyler Warren at 4.03. Jason argues that Warren represents the true top receiving option on a Colts offense that lit the league on fire last season while Daniel Jones was healthy. Warren was not going to be Jason’s pick until he realized he would have stacked two Chargers on his team after he took Hampton two rounds earlier.
Andy got back into his WR room with great value, taking Luther Burden as the WR22 off the board. While there are now some injury concerns around Burden, who is nursing a groin injury, the second-year WR is hard to pass on after his mini-breakout down the stretch of the 2025 season. Burden represents a high-upside pick that should be complemented well on Andy’s roster after taking a known commodity in London to start his WRs a few rounds earlier.
Round 4 saw three of the onesie positions go off the board: the aforementioned Warren, who was taken by Jason; Colston Loveland at 4.07; and Lamar Jackson at 4.12 as the second QB off the board.

Round 5
Andy (5.05) – Travis Etienne (RB, NO)
Jason (5.10) – Davante Adams (WR, LAR)
As we get into the mid-rounds and teams start taking shape, Andy goes back to the RB well, taking Travis Etienne with his fifth pick. Andy debated over a few RBs along with Etienne, mainly David Montgomery and TreVeyon Henderson, but ultimately decided to go with the Saints’ big free-agency addition as his RB2.
Jason added to his WR room at 5.10, taking Davante Adams as his second WR. Adams finds himself on one of the Ballers teams for the second mock draft in a row, this time going at the end of the fifth as opposed to the beginning. The Rams WR2 is in an offense that fantasy managers want pieces of, and any potential suspension for Puka Nacua this season would make Adams an even better value at this point in the draft.
Interestingly enough, this round was bookended by a pair of rookie WRs with Carnell Tate going at 5.01 and Jordyn Tyson at 5.12. Tate figures to be the top receiving option in what should be a much improved Titans offense, while Tyson will be playing in one of the offenses viewed as a breakout unit in New Orleans. Fantasy managers could get real value from either rookie going in these middle rounds.
Round 6
Jason (6.03) – Rome Odunze (WR, CHI)
Andy (6.08) – Mike Evans (WR, SF)
For just the second time so far in this mock draft, Jason and Andy took the same position in Round 6.
The Big Shimmy added a potential value pick as his WR3, taking Rome Odunze at 6.03. The debate over the receiving options in Chicago really requires fantasy managers to take a stance on who they are willing to invest in. In this mock, Jason gets Odunze nearly two rounds later than what Andy gave up for Burden and three rounds later than Colston Loveland.
Andy took a risk waiting for Mike Evans to roll back around to him, but it paid off, getting his WR3 at 6.08. Evans has returned from a brief absence due to injury in training camp and figures to be the top WR in the pecking order in the 49ers offense.
Round 6 saw three QBs come off the board – Drake Maye at 6.01, Jayden Daniels at 6.02, and Joe Burrow at 6.07 – the most QBs to come off the board of any round in this mock draft.

Round 7
Andy (7.05) – George Kittle (TE, SF)
Jason (7.10) – Chris Godwin (WR, TB)
Back to the substation well, Andy went with his Round 7 pick, taking his third 49er of this draft in George Kittle. While Kittle is still working his way back onto the field to be ready for Week 1, he does represent a top-end option at TE. If Kittle gets back onto the field to start the season, he could be a difference-making player at a position that can be fairly shallow. It is worth noting that this is the highest that Kittle has gone in any of the last three mock drafts by the Ballers, by nearly two full rounds.
For the third-straight round, Jason added to his WR room, taking Chris Godwin at 7.10. Godwin took some time to get back to the consistent fantasy producer we are used to seeing last season, but in his last 7 games, he finished as a top-36 WR four times, including two top-24 finishes. After taking RBs with each of his first two picks, Jason really had to use the middle rounds to fill out his WR room and get back on track here.
Round 8
Jason (8.03) – Caleb Williams (QB, CHI)
Andy (8.08) – D.K. Metcalf (WR, PIT)
To appease J-Grizz, Jason spends his eighth-round pick to complete his QB-WR Bears stack, getting Caleb Williams. There is hope that Williams will really take another large step forward in year two of Ben Johnson’s offense after finishing at the QB7 in 2025. Williams was nearly Chicago’s first-ever 4,000-yard passer last season, but saw improvements in passing TDs (+7), TD percentage (+1.2%), and sacks taken (-44) during his sophomore season.
While the Ballers do not make a habit of getting involved in the Steelers’ passing game, Andy felt like he got good value taking D.K. Metcalf at 8.08 as his WR4. Metcalf’s first season in Pittsburgh wasn’t ideal, finishing as the WR26 and not eclipsing 100+ targets for the first time in his career. There have been lots of changes for the Steelers this offseason, so there is hope that new Head Coach Mike McCarthy could open the offense up more to look like the old Green Bay days since he is reunited with Aaron Rodgers in black and yellow.

Round 9
Andy (9.05) – Chuba Hubbard (RB, CAR)
Jason (9.10) – Aaron Jones (RB, MIN)
The guys got synced up again in Round 9 and took the only two RBs that went off the board in this round.
Andy grabbed just his third RB of this mock draft in Chuba Hubbard at 9.05. Hubbard seemed to have lost a lot of ground in the Carolina backfield last season, but the departure of Rico Dowdle has given him another chance to be the RB1 for the Panthers this season. There is real competition from the oft-injured Jonathon Brooks, but getting Hubbard a full two rounds later is decent value for a potential starting RB.
Jason finally went back to the RB well, taking the second Viking RB of this draft in Aaron Jones. Typically, we have seen Jones going before fellow Viking Jordan Mason, but today it is the aged veteran who went 17 picks later. In a full PPR format, Jones may be the preferred RB to have in Minnesota, since he has caught 30+ passes in six of the last seven seasons.
Round 10
Jason (10.03) – Rachaad White (RB, WAS)
Andy (10.08) – Dalton Kincaid (TE, BUF)
The late rounds of mock drafts are all about taking upside swings, and that is what the Ballers did here.
Jason goes back to the ambiguous backfields, taking Rachaad White at 10.03 as his RB4. White came to Washington in free agency and seems poised to compete with Jacory Croskey-Merritt for the lead RB role. Similar to his last pick, Jason gets an RB whose specialty comes in the receiving game, which is only magnified by the full PPR format.
Andy needed some TE insurance, so he took Jason’s favorite late-round TE in Dalton Kincaid. While there were several TEs worth taking at this point of the draft as a “Kittle security”, Andy grabbed Kincaid to stack with Josh Allen in hopes he may finally pay off the high hopes the fantasy community had for him coming into the league. This marks the third straight mock draft that one of the Ballers has grabbed Kincaid for their roster.
Round 11
Andy (11.05) – Ja’Kobi Lane (WR, BAL)
Jason (11.10) – Zachariah Branch (WR, ATL)
To round out this mock draft, Andy and Jason each took a swing at rookie WRs – both of whom they drafted in their last mock draft.
The camp hype drumbeat has gotten pretty loud for Andy’s selection – Ravens WR Ja’Kobi Lane. Lane is making a real case to be the WR3 in Baltimore behind Zay Flowers and Rashod Bateman, but what will make him worth keeping on a roster for fantasy is if he can find his way onto the field in two WR sets for one of the more fantasy-relevant offenses in recent years.
Jason takes a swing again on Falcons rookie WR Zachariah Branch. With very few established receiving threats behind Drake London in Atlanta, Branch could have a chance to see the field early as a rookie and is reportedly making a case to do so at training camp. Taking a shot at a potential PPR monster this late in a mock draft could prove extremely valuable if Branch can get on the field during the regular season.
