The 2026 Nasty Boyz Dynasty Podcast Recap (Fantasy Football)
Every NFL team has 53 players on the active roster, and occasionally, a benchwarmer finds a path to a greater role. One secret to seizing dynasty success is identifying players buried by circumstances who may become fantasy relevant. It may not feel great to add that player to the roster, but when the time comes, their impact could be just what a team needs to have success. Fantasy Footballers HQ affectionately identifies that kind of fantasy asset as a “Nasty Boy”. At some point during the season, a Nasty Boy may rise from the deep depths of the bench to the fantasy-relevant surface, occasionally to have a sustained impact.
The 2025 Fantasy Footballers Dynasty Nasty Boyz included:
- Jacory Croskey-Merritt (RB32 for the season: Half PPR RB13 or better four weeks)
- Woody Marks (RB29 for the season, RB27 or better seven weeks)
- Sean Tucker (Half PPR RB1 one week; RB27 or better four weeks)
- Oronde Gadsden (TE17 for the season, TE12 or better three weeks)
- Theo Johnson (TE19 for the season; TE12 or better six weeks)
Let’s take a look at the 2026 Fantasy Footballers Dynasty Nasty Boys!
Nicholas Singleton, RB, Tennessee Titans
NFL rookie Nick Singleton required surgery to correct a foot injury he sustained just three months before the draft, which lowered his draft stock. The Penn State record holder for all-purpose yards was drafted in the fifth round by the Titans, whose offense is led by Brian Daboll, the same man who oversaw the meteoric rise of fourth-rounder Cam Skattebo last year.
The Titans depth chart currently lists Tony Pollard and Tyjae Spears as RB1 and RB2 on the depth chart, but beat reporter Buck Reising reports Singleton “is getting a lot of run and could really push Tyjae Spears for the third-down role”. Furthermore, Pollard and Spears are in the final years of their contracts. Singleton presents the pedigree to contribute this year while auditioning to be the lead back for years to come.
Charlie Kolar, TE, LA Chargers
This offseason, Kolar signed a three-year deal, including $17 million guaranteed, to play for his second Harbaugh brother. Kolar spent most of his rookie contract as a blocking TE in Baltimore, but was a significant pass catcher in college. Kolar amassed college career totals of 2,181 yards and 23 TDs while finishing second in receptions from Brock Purdy, competing for targets with Breece Hall and Xavier Hutchinson. Kolar’s blocking ability should allow him to have regular playing time with the Chargers, especially as the league moves to more 2TE sets. The Chargers’ offensive line is currently ranked eighth-best by Sharp Football Analysis, and with the creative Mike McDaniel calling plays, there is a possibility Kolar can brush up his receiving skills enough to make an impact.

MarShawn Lloyd, RB, Green Bay Packers
Lloyd’s soft tissue injuries (say that five times fast) have kept his NFL career from taking off, but the explosive back is a fantastic fit for Matt LaFleur’s offense. Lloyd spent his 2025 offseason receiving treatment from Dr. John Meyer, the same specialist who treated Christian Watson for soft tissue injuries.
The Packers depth chart lists aging Josh Jacobs as the team’s RB1; however, he has not practiced with the team since August 6th due to a groin injury (“Agggggh, Ma Groin!“). This has led to Lloyd getting significant training camp work with the first-team offense. Perhaps even just as significant as Lloyd’s current health (knock on wood) is the fact that the Packers have not brought in any significant RB to compete for the RB2 spot. Green Bay did not re-sign Emanuel Wilson and, even with a potential suspension looming for Jacobs due to events in May, there have been no significant RB additions. If training camp ended today, Lloyd would be the Packers’ starter, no question.
Dontayvion Wicks, WR, Philadelphia Eagles
The Year 4 WR expects to find new life on a new team with a familiar system. Howie Roseman gave up two coveted (I am serious) day-three picks to reunite Wicks with new OC Sean Mannion. Mannion was the Green Bay Packers QB Coach and saw Wicks up close for two years before landing with the Eagles. Wicks was immediately extended through the 2027 season and has received camp praise from his teammates.

With DeVonta Smith and Makai Lemon missing camp due to hamstrings, Wicks has been a camp standout, and several beat reporters have him as the team’s WR2 when everyone is healthy. Rookie Lemon is not expected to have a significant role in the beginning of the season after missing OTAs and nearly all of training camp. In the Packers offense, Wicks received significant targets per route run, including a 30% rate in 2024, and all signs point to that continuing this year in Philadelphia.
Erick All Jr., TE, Cincinnati Bengals
This Iowa TE was drafted by the Bengals at a serious discount due to a rare 2022 minimally invasive spinal surgery and 2023 ACL tear. All had the second-highest FELIX score in the class, only behind the freak that is Brock Bowers. All was able to play nine games in the 2024 season, regularly at 50% snap count, before re-tearing his ACL. He did not have a significant number of routes in that limited time (107), but it is significant that he was targeted by Joe Burrow on 19.6% of those routes.
All has not had much game time in the explosive Bengals offense, but Head Coach Zac Taylor does not miss a chance to gush about him, saying, “The word ‘physical’ in the dictionary is a picture of Erick All” and “He’s trying to put his face through somebody’s soul. That’s the best way I can describe him.” What more needs to be said?
Terrance Ferguson, TE, Los Angeles Rams
Ferguson’s rookie season had promising peripherals, as he was steadily integrated into the offense and averaged 21 yards per reception. Ferguson led all TEs in the NFL in 20+ air-yard targets with an aDOT of 18.3 yards. For context, since 2018, no TE with 25 or more targets has an aDOT over 14 yards! Only 60% of Ferguson’s targets were deemed catchable, which is the lowest percentage among all TEs.
One year ago, the Rams drafted Ferguson in the second round with the 46th overall pick, and, more importantly, with their first available pick in the 2025 draft. Davante Adams and Colby Parkinson are entering the final year of their contracts. Tyler Higbee has an additional year, but would only count as a $1,000,000 dead cap hit if he were to be cut in the offseason. With Head Coach Sean McVay looking to increase two TE sets, Terrence Ferguson is on the brink of having all the opportunity he could hope for.

Bonus: Deep League Nasty Boy
Seydou Traore, TE, Miami Dolphins
Far below the castle in the clouds, deep in the mucky muck, there lies a player with all the ingredients to be a good TE. Born in France, the NFL Academy graduate attended Mississippi State, putting up 35 receptions, 375 yards, and five TDs his final year. He was not invited to the NFL Combine, but the Miami Dolphins website states he has a 40-inch vertical jump, a 10-foot-7 broad jump, and a 4.59 forty-yard dash. Traore made NFL Academy history as the first graduate ever to be selected in an NFL Draft when the Dolphins’ new regime took him with their third of three fifth-round picks. As part of the International Player Pathway Program, Traore qualifies as a roster exemption for Miami and, with so much of the depth chart undecided, he will get a fair shot to make the team. With five TDs on 35 receptions, the 6’4”, 235-pound European may be suited for red-zone opportunities.
