Jalen Coker, WR (CAR)

Working on side Wednesday

Coker (ankle) is suited up but working with trainers on a side field at Wednesday's practice, Mike Kaye of ESPN.com reports.

After reeling off eight catches (on nine targets) for 138 yards and two touchdowns during a Week 1 loss to the Bears, Coker was spotted in a walking boot Monday due to a left ankle injury suffered in that contest. He told Kaye at the time that the boot was a precaution, and now his practice reps, or lack thereof, to begin Week 2 prep will become known later Wednesday.
