Rome Odunze, WR (CHI)

Listed as limited participant Wednesday

Odunze (calf) was limited in Wednesday's practice.

After sitting out Monday and being labeled day-to-day by coach Ben Johnson on Tuesday, Odunze is limited in the first official practice of the week. His status for Sunday's season opener against Carolina still appears unsettled. If Odunze is unable to go, Luther Burden and Colston Loveland should dominate most of the targets from Caleb Williams, while Kalif Raymond and Zavion Thomas see more action on offense.

Won't practice Tuesday

Head coach Ben Johnson said that Odunze (leg) won't practice Tuesday, but the wide receiver is considered "more day-to-day," and the Bears remain hopeful that he'll play in Sunday's season opener versus the Panthers, Brad Biggs of the Chicago Tribune reports.

Currently team's only healthy RB

Johnson currently is the only healthy running back on the Bears' active roster after D'Andre Swift (abdomen) exited Thursday's practice due to an injury, Sean Hammond of the Chicago Tribune reports.
