Miles Sanders
Left Knee Injury (Diagnosis Unknown): Out 1-2 weeks
Sanders injured his left knee on Sunday on a 74-yard run. He got his left leg caught awkwardly underneath the defender’s body, but it appears as though he’s avoided a major injury. Chris Mortensen has reported that Sanders is expected to miss 1-2 weeks after getting an MRI on Monday. While we don’t know the specifics of the injury at this time, the short projected recovery timeline suggests he avoided a significant injury. Sanders won’t play on Thursday night against the Giants.
I’m told the feeling is

Players impacted: Boston Scott, Carson Wentz
Raheem Mostert
High Ankle Sprain: Out at least 3 weeks
Mostert exited Sunday Night Football early with an ankle injury. He returned briefly but exited shortly thereafter and was ruled out for the rest of the game. After additional testing on Monday, Kyle Shanahan suggested to reporters that Mostert is “most likely” headed to IR, which would mean Mostert will miss at least three weeks and up to six weeks.
Players impacted: Jerick McKinnon, Jeff Wilson Jr., JaMycal Hasty
Mark Ingram
Ankle Sprain: Week to week
Ingram injured his ankle in the first quarter. He exited briefly to get his ankle taped then returned for just one play before exiting for good. The bye week comes at a great time for Ingram with the Ravens getting Week 7 off. Because of the extra time off, it’s unlikely Ingram misses any game time and should be ready for Week 8.
Players impacted: J.K. Dobbins, Gus Edwards
Joe Mixon
Foot Sprain: Day to day
Mixon was listed as questionable to return Sunday with a minor foot injury but was able to return to the game and finish, albeit in a limited role. After Mixon returned, Gio Bernard saw an expanded role. As of now, I don’t believe this injury to be serious, but Mixon’s status needs to be monitored closely this week.
Players impacted: Giovani Bernard
DeVante Parker
Groin Strain: Week to week
Parker exited in the fourth quarter on Sunday after picking up a minor groin strain. It’s worth noting that the game was well out of hand at the time of injury, so it’s possible Parker could have played through the injury if the score was closer. For now, consider Parker week to week, but given that the Dolphins are on bye in Week 7, it’s unlikely Parker misses much time, if any.
Players impacted: Ryan Fitzpatrick, Preston Williams, Mike Gesicki
Zach Ertz
High Ankle Sprain: Out at least 3 weeks
Ertz picked up his ankle injury in the fourth quarter and didn’t return late in the game. He’s likely headed to IR for the Eagles as the injuries just keep piling up. Ertz is unlikely to return to 100% until late November. Fellow tight end, Dallas Goedert, is also working his way back from his early-season ankle injury and should step into an immediate TE1 role when he returns to the field.
Players impacted: Carson Wentz, Travis Fulgham, Dallas Goedert (IR, ankle), Greg Ward
Jonnu Smith
Ankle Sprain: Week to week
Jonnu Smith picked up an ankle injury in the third quarter and exited to have his ankle heavily taped. He was seen testing the ankle on the sideline but ultimately didn’t return. As of now, there’s no concern about this being a multi-week injury, and Jonnu has a chance to play in Week 7, but he should be considered questionable this week.
