The Fantasy Footballers: SuperFlex Mock Draft Recap
The closer we get to August, the closer fantasy managers are getting to being right in the thick of draft season! What better way to be the most prepared person at your draft than getting in a solid mock draft?
Andy, Mike, and Jason took to the draft room to take on staff members in a super draft in a SuperFlex mock draft! Mike got the lucky draw this time and ended up with the 1.01, Jason is drafting from the 1.04, and Andy from the 1.08.
This mock draft used the following settings: 12 teams, 0.5 PPR, 1QB, 2RB, 2WR, 1TE, 1 FLEX, 1 SuperFlex, and 4 bench spots.

Round 1
Mike (1.01) – Josh Allen (QB, BUF)
Jason (1.04) – Bijan Robinson (RB, ATL)
Andy (1.08) – Joe Burrow (QB, CIN)
The Ballers get into this SuperFlex mock in different ways. With the first pick in the draft, Mike takes what feels like an obvious choice of Josh Allen, who has finished as the QB1 overall in four of the last six seasons. Andy also got himself his QB1 at the 1.08, taking Joe Burrow as the fourth QB off the board.
While getting QBs early in a SuperFlex draft is much more typical than in a 1QB system, Jason chose to get an RB in Bijan Robinson to start his draft. Jason was not the only one who decided against drafting a QB with his first pick; there were actually only five QBs taken in the first round of this mock, while managers decided to eat up value at RB and WR.
Round 2
Andy (2.05) – Kenneth Walker (RB, KC)
Jason (2.09) – Jalen Hurts (QB, PHI)
Mike (2.12) – Chase Brown (RB, CIN)
The run on non-QBs continued in the second round, with the first five picks all being RBs and even the first TE coming off the board at the 2.06.
Andy was in that run of RBs, nabbing Kenneth Walker at the 2.05 to start filling in his skill positions. Mike also followed suit at the end of the round, getting Chase Brown right before the turn.
Jason’s patience for a QB1 paid off, getting Jalen Hurts at the 2.09, which feels like incredible value in this draft format.
Through two rounds, there were four teams who didn’t take a QB, but all 12 teams differentiated the positions they took with their first two picks.

Round 3
Mike (3.01) – Rashee Rice (WR, KC)
Jason (3.04) – Drake London (WR, ATL)
Andy (3.08) – Trey McBride (TE, ARI)
Round 3 was the lightest QB round at this point of the draft, with only two QBs going off the board in the back-end – Jaxson Dart at 3.10 and Justin Herbert at 3.11.
Both Mike and Jason added their first WRs, with Mike taking a shot on Rashee Rice at the 3.01 and Jason adding his second Atlanta Falcon with Drake London at the 3.04.
Andy grabbed the second TE off the board, taking Trey McBride at 3.08. In a SuperFlex draft where fantasy managers are typically getting into the onesie positions earlier than usual, it is a bit of a risk to take a TE and QB so close together, but McBride could represent a positional advantage that other players at TE just cannot match.
Round 4
Andy (4.05) – Tee Higgins (WR, CIN)
Jason (4.09) – Bo Nix (QB, DEN)
Mike (4.12) – Colston Loveland (TE, CHI)
All three Ballers went different directions with their Round 4 selections.
Andy secured a Bengals stack when he added Tee Higgins as his WR1, pairing him with Joe Burrow.
Jason was the first of the Ballers and third team overall to get his second QB, taking Bo Nix at 4.09. The fourth round actually saw three different teams secure their SuperFlex spot, with Trevor Lawrence going at the 4.02 to Betz and Matthew Stafford going at the 4.08 to Julia.
Mike ended the round taking his fourth different position of this draft and going with Bears TE Colston Loveland.
The fourth round only saw one RB go off the board, after 14 were picked in the first three rounds.
Round 5
Mike (5.01) – Zay Flowers (WR, BAL)
Jason (5.04) – Garrett Wilson (WR, NYJ)
Andy (5.08) – Luther Burden (WR, CHI)
For the first and only time in this mock draft, Round 5 saw all three Ballers take a player at the same position.
The Fantasy Hitman grabbed his beloved Zay Flowers to be his WR2. Meanwhile, Jason’s love for Geno Smith in New York could not be overcome, and got him to pick Garrett Wilson. The show’s point guard took an upside swing on Bears second-year WR Luther Burden.
Only two QBs came off the board in Round 5, and for the fourth round in a row a TE was taken when Kyle took Tyler Warren at the 5.03.

Round 6
Andy (6.05) – Travis Etienne (RB, NO)
Jason (6.09) – TreVeyon Henderson (RB, NE)
Mike (6.12) – Tyler Shough (QB, NO)
Andy kicks things off for the Ballers in Round 6 and actually tried to make Mike and Jason choose for him, which backfired. In the end, Andy chose Travis Etienne, adding his second RB of the draft.
When Jason’s pick came, he admitted he was purposefully unhelpful in Andy’s decision-making game because he himself wanted Etienne, but settled for TreVeyon Henderson, who he considered taking in the previous round.
Mike took a bit of a swing to end the round, taking New Orleans QB Tyler Shough in preparation for a Saints stack in the next round.
Round 6 marked the third round in a row where six WRs went off the board and the first time since Round 2 where a TE did not get picked.
Round 7
Mike (7.01) – Jordyn Tyson (WR, NO)
Jason (7.04) – D’Andre Swift (RB, CHI)
Andy (7.08) – Marvin Harrison (WR, ARI)
At the start of the back end of the draft, only six teams in this mock have both of their QBs. The rate at which the QBs are coming off the board slowed down significantly, with only six total QBs taken in Rounds 4-6.
As mentioned in the previous round, Mike double-tapped Saints back-to-back, grabbing rookie WR Jordyn Tyson to pair with Tyler Shough.
Jason, meanwhile, took his second-straight RB, grabbing D’Andre Swift, and Andy took a shot on Marvin Harrison Jr as his WR3.
Round 8
Andy (8.05) – Kyler Murray (QB, MIN)
Jason (8.09) – Makai Lemon (WR, PHI)
Mike (8.12) – J.K. Dobbins (RB, DEN)
Andy kicked off Round 8 for the Ballers, taking a shot on Kyler Murray as his QB2. If Murray can assimilate into the Vikings offense like some fantasy managers are hoping, he could be a great value in SuperFlex or even 1QB drafts given his running ability and late capital.
Jason liked Mike’s idea of pairing a first-round rookie WR with their QB, and nabbed Makai Lemon to pair with Jalen Hurts. Lemon is just the third WR on Jason’s team, but the upside is pretty high in the Eagles offense with the departure of AJ Brown this offseason.
In typical Mike fashion, the Hitman took J.K. Dobbins a tab earlier than ADP. Dobbins was just Mike’s second RB on his team but could be tremendous value for however long he stays healthy.

Round 9
Mike (9.01) – Alec Pierce (WR, IND)
Jason (9.04) – Courtland Sutton (WR, DEN)
Andy (9.08) – Chuba Hubbard (RB, CAR)
Mike continued scooping up values in Round 9, getting the currently PUP’d Alec Pierce at the 9.01. There are varying opinions on exactly what Pierce will be in the Colts offense this season after getting a giant bag of money to stay in Indianapolis. The value here comes with getting a team’s potential WR1 as a bench spot on your fantasy roster.
Jason got his second stack in a row, adding Courtland Sutton with this ninth pick. Sutton has increased target competition in Denver this season after the Broncos traded for Jaylen Waddle, but he has been a consistent TD threat with QB Bo Nix.
Speaking of values, Andy felt like he got one in Chuba Hubbard, who went five picks after Jonathon Brooks. Hubbard and Brooks will likely compete for the main RB role in Carolina, but when given the opportunity, Hubbard has been a solid option for fantasy managers.
Round 9 marks the only round in the entire mock draft where just one QB was taken, with Cam Ward going at 9.02.
Round 10
Andy (10.05) – Jordan Mason (RB, MIN)
Jason (10.09) – Tua Tagovailoa (QB, ATL)
Mike (10.12) – Jacory Croskey-Merritt (RB, WAS)
In back-to-back rounds, Andy may have gotten a team’s RB1, though his selection of Jordan Mason may be a little more of a projection. Mason was brought into Minnesota last season to potentially lead their backfield but wasn’t very effective. There is optimism that he will be given the chance again to be the RB the Vikings lean on in the running game while leaving the passing work to the veteran Aaron Jones.
Jason continued his stacking trend in Round 10, adding Tua Tagovailoa as his QB3 to pair with Drake London and Bijan Robinson. Tua is in a QB competition to start at QB for the Falcons and in a SuperFlex format isn’t a bad option to have as a safety QB.
Speaking of ambiguous backfields, Mike took a shot at the Commanders RB room, nabbing Jacory Croskey-Merritt to end the round as his RB3.
Round 11
Mike (11.01) – Bryce Young (QB, CAR)
Jason (11.04) – Josh Downs (WR, IND)
Andy (11.08) – Matthew Golden (WR, GB)
In the final rounds of drafts, fantasy managers are really just looking to take swings on guys that could pay off big time for their rosters.
Mike takes a shot at a step forward from Panthers QB Bryce Young to start the round. Young was the only QB taken in the 11th round of this mock draft.
Refusing to take a TE until his last pick, Jason felt like he got good value in WR Josh Downs, though his fellow Colts WR went just two rounds earlier. Downs could see an uptick in usage after the departure of Michael Pittman Jr. this offseason, but questions remain about his ability to line up and win as an outside WR.
Andy took a big swing at WR with second-year Packer Matthew Golden. Much like Downs, the pathway to getting on the field more has cleared for Golden in Green Bay with Romeo Doubs and Dontayvion Wicks leaving town after a rough rookie season where he basically did not matter at all for fantasy rosters.

Round 12
Andy (12.05) – J.J. McCarthy (QB, MIN)
Jason (12.09) – Dalton Kincaid (TE, BUF)
Mike (12.12) – Tank Bigsby (RB, PHI)
To round out this mock draft, Andy got himself some QB security, taking the other QB in Minnesota with J.J. McCarthy. McCarthy and Kyler Murray are battling for the starting QB job for the Vikings, but Andy is hedging his bets with a late-round pick to make sure to secure his QB2.
Jason finally took a TE with his final pick, getting Dalton Kincaid. There is hope that a healthy Kincaid can live up to the hype that he has carried since entering the league as a first-round pick in the NFL Draft and be an elite TE option in an offense with Josh Allen.
Mike adds a fourth RB with the last pick of the draft, nabbing Tank Bigsby, whom he called maybe the best backup RB in the league. Bigsby flashed when given opportunities last season after being shipped to Philadelphia after Week 1 of the 2025 season. If anything were to happen to Saquon Barkley, Bigsby would be a huge beneficiary for fantasy.
