Fantasy Football: Week 17 Streamers To Consider
Here we are. The final week of fantasy football in 2025 (at least in most leagues). If you’ve reached your league’s championship game, congratulations. It takes a lot of skill and perseverance to reach this point. But it’s not time to celebrate just yet. You are still one final win away from the ultimate fantasy glory.
So let’s stay focused and look for every possible way to squeeze out more fantasy points from your roster. I’m sure you’ve built a great team, but there’s always room to improve your chances by streaming players with favorable matchups. In this article, you’ll find some viable streamers for your QB, K, and DST positions. Be sure to compare them to your current starters using Andy, Mike, and Jason’s weekly rankings, as well as the different tools available in the Fantasy Footballers Ultimate Dashboard, to help you set the perfect lineup for this very important week.
Let’s dive in!
Quarterbacks
Jacoby Brissett – Arizona Cardinals (62% rostered)
Last week was a bit of a fluke for Brissett. His volume and completion percentage against Atlanta were very low compared to what we’ve come to expect since he took over as the starter in Arizona. But this week, he has one of the best possible matchups for his skill set and playing style. The Cardinals face the Bengals and their bottom-tier pass defense, which has allowed the second-most fantasy points per game to QBs this season. It’s a pocket passer’s dream. Expect a bounce-back from Brissett.
Tyler Shough – New Orleans Saints (21% rostered)
Since taking over as the starter in New Orleans, Tyler Shough has been a more viable fantasy streamer than most expected. Last week, he recorded his first career 300+ passing yard game against the New York Jets. Now he will face the Tennessee Titans in a game where he should be able to air it out and continue building strong chemistry with his receivers. The Titans have allowed nearly 250 passing yards per game this season, so Shough once again makes for a solid streaming option.
Geno Smith – Las Vegas Raiders (13% rostered)
Geno Smith hasn’t had a strong season, largely due to the Raiders’ struggling offensive line. But after missing a week with an injury, he returned with a solid outing against the tough Texans defense, throwing for 201 yards and two TDs. This week, he should offer a decent fantasy floor against the New York Giants, who have given up over 20 fantasy points per game to QBs.
Kickers
Evan McPherson – Cincinnati Bengals (40% rostered)
After a disappointing zero-point performance in Week 15, the Bengals bounced back by dismantling the Dolphins, and McPherson delivered with double-digit fantasy points. Unfortunately, only one of his seven kicks was a field goal attempt. This week, he should stay on track in what’s projected to be another high-scoring affair against the Cardinals. This game has a 51.5-point over/under, and the Bengals are favored by six. McPherson is a top-tier kicker streamer this week.
Harrison Mevis – Los Angeles Rams (4% rostered)
Despite missing his first field goal of the season last week, Harrison Mevis remains a solid fantasy option. The Rams continue to put up points, and this week’s matchup against the Atlanta Falcons is expected to be another high-scoring game. If you need a widely available kicker from a high-powered offense, Mevis is your guy.
Cairo Santos – Chicago Bears (32% rostered)
Santos was perfect in the Bears’ overtime win over the Packers last week, hitting three field goals and one extra point. He’s become a reliable fantasy kicker as the Bears continue their push for a high playoff seed. This week, he faces the 49ers in a matchup that should provide plenty of scoring opportunities for Santos.
Defense & Special Teams
New Orleans Saints (56% rostered)
As we mentioned last week, the Saints are reaping the benefits of a fantastic playoff schedule. They racked up eight sacks and two turnovers against Brady Cook and the Jets, finishing with 20 fantasy points. This week, they get the Titans and Cam Ward, who has shown improvement but remains the most-sacked QB this season. The Saints are a top streaming defense once again.
New York Giants (5% rostered)
The Giants capitalized on the Vikings’ offensive struggles last week, finishing with four sacks, two turnovers, and a defensive TD. This week, they face the Raiders’ league-worst offensive line. Las Vegas has allowed the most fantasy points per game to opposing DSTs this season, making the Giants a no-brainer.
Detroit Lions (53% rostered)
The Lions’ defense has been a fantasy rollercoaster, but their ups and downs have been mostly predictable depending on their matchups. This week is shaping up to be a good one as they take on the Vikings, who lost their QB again last week. With J.J. McCarthy unlikely to play, backup Max Brosmer is expected to start, and streaming defenses against him have been a recipe for success.
