Back at practice Sunday

McCaffrey has been held out of training camp practices and preseason games due to general "tightness." His return to the practice field Sunday for the first time in nearly three weeks is a positive sign, but it remains to be seen what his level of participation will be. The superstar running back is unlikely to play in Thursday's preseason finale against the Raiders, with the focus instead on having McCaffrey 100 percent healthy for Week 1 against the Rams on Thursday, Sept. 10.
