After Evans departed Tuesday's joint practice with the Chargers, coach Kyle Shanahan said the veteran wide receiver was dealing with some quadriceps tightness, which resulted in his left quad being wrapped near the end of that session. Evans didn't play in Thursday's preseason win versus the Chargers, giving him just one more chance for game action ahead of Week 1.
