Trevor Lawrence, QB (JAX)

More lackluster numbers in loss

Lawrence completed 21 of 38 passes for 178 yards with one touchdown and one interception in the Jaguars' 47-10 loss to the Bills on Monday night. He also rushed twice for three yards.

Lawrence and the Jaguars offense as a whole was under duress early, as the Bills already had a 13-0 lead by the end of one that had expanded to a 34-3 advantage by halftime. The 2021 first overall pick could only lead Jacksonville to that one field goal on five first-half possessions, one of which he short-circuited with an interception. Lawrence's best stretch of play came on the opening possession of the second half, when he helmed an eight-play, 70-yard march that he capped with a six-yard touchdown toss to Brenton Strange. The fourth-year signal-caller eventually gave way to Mac Jones midway through the fourth quarter with the game long out of reach, and Lawrence will head into a Week 4 road divisional showdown against the Texans on Sunday having thrown for no more than 220 yards in any of his first three games.
