Kyle Monangai, RB, Chicago Bears – Rostered in just over 60% of leagues, rookie Kyle Monangai remains far too widely available to not include at the top of this article. He capped Week 13 with the best performance of his career, rushing 22 times for 130 yards and a TD. Most managers would rarely let a player with this kind of upside linger on waivers, but if he’s still there, you know what to do. Just temper expectations for Week 14, as he faces a tough matchup against the Packers.
Chris Rodriguez, RB, Washington Commanders – A starting RB sitting on waivers in roughly 60% of leagues is impossible to ignore. Chris Rodriguez opened the year in a limited role, but he has taken over as Washington’s lead back in recent weeks. In Sunday’s overtime loss to the Broncos, he logged 11 carries for 41 yards and a TD. He does not bring much as a receiver, which keeps his ceiling in check, but his workload is steady enough to earn weekly starting consideration. He has also found the end zone in four of his last six games. He enters this week with momentum as the Commanders look to rebound against the Vikings.
Blake Corum, RB, Los Angeles Rams – We have grown used to Kyren Williams lighting up the Rams’ backfield, but Blake Corum has quietly carved out a meaningful role. In Sunday’s loss to the Panthers, he logged seven carries for 81 yards and a TD, flashing real burst and creativity. Williams delivered another strong performance, but a brief ankle scare underscored how valuable Corum could become if the starter ever misses time. Corum profiles as a TD-dependent bye-week filler against the Cardinals in Week 14, yet his handcuff upside makes him a player who should be rostered in all leagues.
Jordan Mason, RB, Minnesota Vikings – Earlier this season, Jordan Mason looked like a potential league-winner, but just like the entire Minnesota offense, his upside evaporated. Even so, he has shown signs of life with three straight games over 40 rushing yards, making the most of limited touches. The problem is that with a healthy Aaron Jones, this offense isn’t strong enough to support reliable production from both backs. Fortunately for Mason, Jones suffered a shoulder injury that could force him to miss time. Mason won’t have many scoring chances, but the volume should be solid enough to give him a dependable floor. If Jones is out, treat Mason as a low-end RB2 in a favorable Week 14 matchup with Washington.
Devin Singletary, RB, New York Giants – While almost nothing clicked for the Giants in Monday night’s loss to the Patriots, Devin Singletary at least provided a spark. He had been splitting work with Tyrone Tracy heading into Week 13, but once Tracy exited in the second half with a hip injury, Singletary took full control of the backfield. He closed the night with 12 carries for 67 yards and a TD and added three catches for 34 yards.
The team’s Week 14 bye slows the momentum, but Singletary has quietly topped 17 fantasy points in two of his last three games. If Tracy misses time, he has a real chance to be a difference maker for playoff-hungry teams.
Bam Knight, RB, Arizona Cardinals – At this point, it’s anyone’s guess when Trey Benson will return from injury. In the meantime, Bam Knight has been a near-weekly fantasy starter, largely thanks to his nose for the end zone. He delivered his best performance of the season in Week 13, rushing 11 times for 62 yards and catching all three targets for 36 yards and a TD. While we wait for updates on Benson, Knight could serve as a valuable bye-week filler in Week 14, even with a tough matchup against the Rams looming.

Christian Watson, WR, Green Bay Packers – Last week, we highlighted Christian Watson as a priority pickup, pointing out that he was available in far too many leagues and that his window would close fast. In Week 13, he delivered exactly the kind of breakout that changes waiver landscapes, catching four of ten targets for 80 yards and a score. Since returning from injury, he has been a weekly starting option for fantasy and has shown his ceiling again, topping 16 fantasy points in two of his last three games. Watson should be rostered everywhere and deserves immediate consideration for starting lineups as he heads into another strong matchup against the Bears in Week 14.
Mike Evans, WR, Tampa Bay Buccaneers – A future Hall of Famer is on the verge of returning to action and is rostered in just under 60% of leagues. Mike Evans has missed most of the season, most recently with a broken collarbone suffered in Week 7. While a Week 14 return is unlikely, he is now cleared from IR and could be a game-changing presence as the fantasy playoffs approach. This is the type of upside you want on your bench and not in your opponent’s lineup, even if it does not pay off as planned.
Adonai Mitchell, WR, New York Jets – A Jets waiver pickup is about as rare as a team victory, but Week 13 delivered both. In Sunday’s win over the Falcons, Adonai Mitchell erupted for eight catches on 12 targets, totaling 102 yards and a TD. Mitchell and John Metchie have been much-needed boosts since arriving at the trade deadline, and both have stepped into featured roles with Garrett Wilson sidelined.
It may be tough to predict which of the two will lead the way each week, but Mitchell’s big-play ability and heavy usage give him the edge as the priority add. View him as a volatile boom-or-bust option with upside in Week 14 as the Jets face the Dolphins.
Dontayvion Wicks, WR, Green Bay Packers – Christian Watson was not the only Packers wideout to shine on Thanksgiving. Dontayvion Wicks reminded everyone of his upside, catching six of seven targets for 94 yards and a TD. He played a featured role and delivered his best performance of the season. Wicks is a sharp route runner with good size and athleticism, but persistent drop issues have kept him from earning a stable weekly role. Because of that, it is hard to view him as a reliable fantasy option, yet his breakout makes him a viable streaming play in deeper leagues as the Packers look to stay hot against the Bears in Week 14.
Isaac TeSlaa, WR, Detroit Lions – After Amon-Ra St. Brown went down early in Thursday’s loss to the Packers with an ankle injury, Detroit was left scrambling to cover his massive share of the offense. Jameson Williams drew most of the attention, but rookie Isaac TeSlaa quietly reminded everyone that his playmaking ability might be as electric as his last name suggests. He caught only two passes for 35 yards, but managed to haul in one of them for a 17-yard TD. He now has three scores on just six career receptions, a clear sign of his big-play profile.
If St. Brown misses time, TeSlaa could see a more meaningful role and produce, especially with a quick turnaround as the Lions aim to bounce back on TNF against the Cowboys.
Devaughn Vele, WR, New Orleans Saints – After the Saints gave up surprising draft capital to acquire Devaughn Vele, he looked like a wasted move for most of the season. In Week 13, he finally showed signs of life. In Sunday’s loss to the Dolphins, Vele caught all eight of his targets for 93 yards and a TD. It was his second straight game with at least seven targets since the Saints returned from their bye, suggesting his role is starting to grow.
He is still difficult to trust in starting lineups, but for managers in deeper leagues or tough situations, he draws an appealing Week 14 matchup against the Buccaneers, where New Orleans should be forced to throw.

Zach Ertz, TE, Washington Commanders – Even at 35, Zach Ertz has shown he still has plenty of big games left. He saved his best performance for Week 13, hauling in 10 of 13 targets for 106 yards. He came inches away from a hauling in a TD late in the game, which would have made his outing even more impressive. Involvement like this at TE is rare, especially from a player available on waivers in nearly 40% of leagues. That makes him a top pickup this week and an immediate start in Week 14 against the Vikings.
Brenton Strange, TE, Jacksonville Jaguars – Brenton Strange has quickly justified the hype as last week’s top waiver pickup at TE. After clearing 90 yards in his return from a five-game absence, he stayed hot in Week 13 with three catches for 45 yards and a TD. His weekly target volume can swing, but he has settled in as a reliable option at a thin position and a strong streaming play when the matchup breaks his way. That should be the case again in Week 14 against the Colts, a game that has real shootout potential.
Harold Fannin, TE, Cleveland Browns – The Cleveland Browns offense has been unpredictable all season, even with a defense capable of carrying games. That instability makes it tough to trust their fantasy assets, but rookie Harold Fannin continues to stand out. He has flashed genuine upside for several weeks and has become the most dependable pass catcher on the roster. In Sunday’s loss to the 49ers, he delivered again with three catches for 43 yards and a TD. The struggling QB play caps his ceiling, but his target share keeps him in the weekly starter conversation. He is firmly in play once more as the Browns look to grab a much-needed win against a struggling Titans team.

Final Thoughts
The final week of the fantasy regular season can feel overwhelming, but this is when clarity matters most. Take an honest look at your standing and tailor your strategy to match.
If you have not clinched a playoff spot yet, your mission is simple: win this week. Many managers get caught planning for the playoffs before they have actually secured a berth, only to slip up and miss out entirely. Focus on fixing immediate roster needs, optimizing your starting lineup, and blocking your opponent or other playoff hopefuls from key waiver additions.
If you are already locked into the postseason, congratulations. However, this is not the time to relax. Use this week to sharpen your roster for the playoff run. Drop any players you know you will not start and replace them with high-upside lottery tickets, such as handcuff RBs or potential breakout candidates. This is also the ideal time to stash defenses with favorable playoff schedules so you can gain an edge before the rush begins. Our 2025 Playoff Primer breaks down the best and worst playoff matchups at every position, including defenses worth adding early.
Wherever you stand, I hope these waiver wire articles have guided your season. Thank you for trusting us each week. Now let’s crush Week 14 and head into the best part of the fantasy year: the playoffs.
