Monday – Week 6 Studs and Duds & Ridley’s Prison, Ready to Roll

After giving us permission to drop Calvin Ridley, the guys get sophisticated.

Ready to Roll

This week, the guys are focusing on the TD underachievers. Here are some TD regression candidates to target: Josh Jacobs and Najee Harris highlight the RBs, for WRs Jason mentions CeeDee Lamb, D.K. Metcalf, and Zay Flowers, and at TE, Trey McBride’s TDs have to be coming. Jake Ferguson is also a candidate for more TDs moving forward.

News

Before the week started, David Montgomery signed a significant contract extension. Michael Pittman did not go to IR but still remains unclear, and Travis Etienne will be week to week with an injury. Jerome Ford also went down, and Nick Chubb could return next week. Marvin Harrison and Chris Olave had bad concussions and were ruled out right away. Dontayvion Wicks sustained a shoulder injury against the Cardinals.

Studs

Caleb Williams, Mike’s Start of the Week, highlights the QB stud section. The Bears go into the bye next week. Laser Mayfield had another incredible week, Jordan Love soared, and Jared Goff looked terrific. Brock Purdy and Jalen Hurts were also successful. Sean Tucker and Bucky Irving both had studly games for Tampa Bay with Rachaad White missing on Sunday. Welcome back, Joe Mixon! Bijan had two TDs even with a dodgy hamstring, and David Montgomery earned his money on Sunday. The Giants’ Tyrone Tracy had another great game with Devin Singletary on the bench.

Chris Godwin was the WR of the day, demonstrating incredible rapport with Mayfield. Terry McLaurin has been great lately with the growth of Jayden Daniels, Deebo got it done on Thursday, and Andy begrudgingly celebrates Gabe Davis. TEs were slightly better with Cole Kmet and George Kittle. Hello Mark Andrews! He actually scored! Evan Engram returned to a plethora of targets, and Trey McBride had a strong showing.

Duds

No one disappointed managers more than Dak Prescott. Kyler was awful, but he lost Marv early, and they were playing in the pouring rain. Jason is still worried. Kirk Cousins was fine, losing most of the TDs to the running game. RB-wise, James Conner had a dud of a game and Saquon was disappointing against Cleveland. No thanks for Tank Bigsby in a game where Etienne was injured. Javonte Williams is who we thought he was.

Mike Evans got Chris Godwined, and Calvin Ridley was horrendous with “targets” landing nowhere near him. Rome Odunze and Brian Thomas Jr. were unsuccessful, and Rashid Shaheed was not as good with Rattler as with Derek Carr. Amari Cooper had tons of targets but couldn’t do anything with them. Tucker Kraft let people down in the TE streets, but Jason still thinks he will have some future success. The Muth also had a TD called back.

Tuesday – Week 7 Waivers and Adams Fallout, Comfort Food

Monday Night Recap

The refs were out in force last night, but past that, there was a lot of fantasy goodness. Breece Hall finally broke through, and even with the loss, Aaron Rodgers and Garrett Wilson were successful. On the Buffalo side, rookie Ray Davis shined bright even with Ty Johnson starting. Dalton Kincaid was fine, and Mike Williams was 0/0 with a concussion, and it cost him his job.

News

The Raiders have traded Davante Adams to the Jets, and the hamstring has miraculously healed. Garrett Wilson will now become the WR2, and Aaron Rodgers could be a streaming option moving forward. Over in Las Vegas, Brock Bowers will be the only option in town. The Steelers will give Russell Wilson first-team reps in practice, and we should see him starting this weekend. This should be helpful for George Pickens and the chance of the Muth getting Luth. Anthony Richardson will play in Week 7, and the window is open for Jonathon Brooks to practice.

Waivers

Jason says there are several players to put small bids on to see what will happen, with several players having questionable tags. Isaac Guerendo should be looked at with Jordan Mason potentially missing a game. Tyler Allgeier is a fundamental part of the offense in Atlanta, and Alexander Mattison continues to perform against all odds, so both should be looked at. Jaylen Warren could be grabbed, but the Jets’ matchup coming up looks daunting. Andy loves Tyrone Tracy. If you want some stashes: MarShawn Lloyd, Kendre Miller, and Jaylen Wright.

On to the WRs, highlighted with Josh Downs and Tyler Lockett if they are available. JuJu is the best option here if you didn’t grab him last week. Bub Means is the last man standing in New Orleans, and you could consider Rashod Bateman. The Green Bay WRs, Doubs and Watson, should be considered, and Jason likes Michael Wilson in Arizona. Evan Engram and Cole Kmet are TE possibilities, and Zach Ertz is always an option. Keep an eye out for David Njoku. Defenses to target are the Saints, Broncos, Bengals, and the Vikings looking forward.

Full Stream Ahead

Andy is streaming Kirk Cousins this week, Jason is going with Drake Maye against Jacksonville, and Mike is starting Andy Dalton.

Wednesday – Hungry For More and Cooper Heads to Buffalo!

Hungry For More

Andy starts us off with Christian Watson, who he is hungry for more from. Never a Watson guy, Andy wants to see more from him with the opportunity for him to grow with Dontayvion Wicks injured. Jason is hungry for more from Raheem Mostert. Finally, Mike cannot wait to see more from Drake Maye, who had a fantastic first start.

News

Freed from the prison that is Cleveland, Amari Cooper heads to Buffalo, and although his QB is an upgrade, the team’s identity is heavy on the run. He will still be an every-week start. Cam Akers was traded to the Vikings, and with Aaron Jones hurting, he might be used. CEH was designated to return, and James Cook will have a chance to play this week.

Thursday Night Preview

The Saints and Broncos battle on Thursday, and New Orleans is down to the nubs with Bub Means as practically the only healthy pass-catcher. It is still a tough defense to start him against. On the Denver side, with Bo Nix coming on, you could start Courtland Sutton. Andy would lean away from Javonte Williams if possible, and Alvin Kamara and both defenses are in play.

The guys hit the mailbag and sign off for the day.

Thursday – Starts of the Week and Week 7 Breakdown, Fool’s Gold

News

No Olave, Shaheed, and Taysom tonight for New Orleans, but Cooper Kupp is trending in the right direction to play. Najee Harris did not practice due to a rib injury, so make sure to monitor that. Amari Cooper has arrived in Buffalo, but it is unclear if he will play this week. Managers could see Malik Nabers this week, and it is still uncertain whether Jordan Mason can get on the field.

Starts of the Week

Jason is starting Laser Mayfield, J.K. Dobbins, Diontae Johnson, and David Njoku. Mike is going with Geno Smith, his champion Antonio Gibson, Jordan Addison, and Kyle Pitts. Finally, Andy is starting Kirk Cousins, the Washington RBs, Zay Flowers, and Sam LaPorta.

Fantasy Forecast

New England heads across the pond to play Jacksonville. Monitor Drake Maye’s knee, which Jason is not concerned about. If you are looking for a waiver start this week, Hunter Henry is an option. On the other side, you can start Brian Thomas and Evan Engram and that might be it. Seattle and Atlanta battle next, and Jason wants this game. You are starting your Falcons studs, and Tyler Allgeier can still be an option. The Bone Zone is still a go, given the number of targets he has been getting.

The Titans head east to play the Bills, and we will see Josh Allen and a poor Josh Allen impersonator. Monitor James Cook’s health; Ray Davis is a start if he misses again. You can start Dalton Kincaid. Will Levis is fool’s gold, so Calvin Ridley can stay on your bench. Mike is okay with the running attack. Cincinnati and Cleveland play in the battle of Ohio, and the return of Nick Chubb is what everyone is looking for. It is David Njoku, maybe Jerry Jeudy, and no one else in Andy’s almost upset of the week. Start your Bengals studs.

Houston and Green Bay are the next matchup, and Andy wants this game. The Packers’ WR room resembles a hospital ward, and the guys are good starting Romeo Doubs. On the Texans’ side, Tank Dell is in your lineup with Nico still injured. C.J. Stroud can be streamed. Miami travels to Indy to play on a team that gets Anthony Richardson back. With a lot of RB injuries, Tyler Goodson is an option. With Richardson back, the Colts’ WRs are scary. Tyler Huntley gets a shot coming off the bye for Miami, and they are a great matchup for opposing QBs. Raheem Mostert was Jason’s pick in the Hungry for More segment, and you start Tyreek.

Minnesota and Detroit play in the battle of the NFC North. The Vikings’ run defense is solid, so temper your Gibbs and Montgomery expectations. Start your other Detroit studs, as well as Jameson Williams. The Lions give up a lot of points to WRs, so fire up Jefferson and Addison.

Friday – Week 7 Matchups and Wheel of Shame, Target Fire

Thursday Night Recap

Last night was rough – one team kind of gave us a good game, and the biggest topic of conversation was the running game. The Denver defense looked great, Spencer Rattler was not good, and Alvin Kamara suffered for it. To be fair, Rattler had no one to throw it to. On the Denver side, Jason delights in Troy Franklin. Past that, Javonte was the star of the game, and the offensive line gave him the chance to run. Bo Nix is kind of improving and the guys could see a world where Courtland Sutton is traded.

News

Full Bic for Rashid Shaheed and his meniscus as he heads to IR. Rhamondre and Etienne are in the London games, and they will be game-time decisions. James Cook returned to practice, and Ray Davis might be battling an injury. Dalton Kincaid is dealing with a collarbone issue. Aaron Jones is looking to play, and JT looks to miss this week for the Colts. Malik Nabers has passed concussion protocol but was added to the injury report with a groin injury.

Fantasy Forecast

The Eagles head to New York to play the Giants in the Saquon revenge game. The Giants’ defense is good, so this won’t be a cakewalk. If Devin Singletary does not go, managers can lock in Tyrone Tracy. Malik Nabers is in your lineup if he is healthy and keep your eyes on TE Theo Johnson. You are starting your Philly studs. The Raiders and Rams are next, and Los Angeles might get Cooper Kupp back. You are starting Kyren and perhaps Jordan Whittington in a pinch. For the Raiders, it is Mattison and Brock Bowers, and goodnight.

Carolina and Washington play in the next game, and this one could be fun. Jayden Daniels is a lock, and so are his pass-catchers. Both Commanders’ RBs are in play as well. You can play Diontae Johnson and Chuba Hubbard for Carolina, and Jason is okay with starting Xavier Legette. We have a Super Bowl matchup with San Francisco and Kansas City. Travis Kelce is in, and for most teams, managers are starting JuJu. Jason is okay with Kareem Hunt. For the Niners, if Jordan Mason plays, you should start him.

Sunday Night Football brings us the Steelers and the Jets. If you start Najee, you could be grinding out a game in a tough matchup and Russell Wilson might be set up to fail here. You are starting Davante Adams, and Garrett Wilson will be fine for the Jets. George Pickens is a scary start. The Outback will be popping for Andy this Monday with two games. The Chargers and Cardinals start us off, and for Kyler to really have a big game, he needs to have Marv. Mike thinks Ladd could be an option for the Chargers. Baltimore and Tampa close us out, and it’s Laser Mayfield time! Zay Flowers is Andy’s Start of the Week, and it is nerve-wracking to start either or both of the Baltimore TEs. Play Baker, and unfortunately, they are going with the hot hand in the Tampa backfield. With the evolution of a nickname, if Rachaad White plays, you can start him.

The guys reveal their DraftKings lineups, and Andy spins the Wheel of Shame! Good luck this week!
