Monday – Week 10 Studs & Duds, CeeDee’s Curtain Call

Happy Veteran’s Day to all. To celebrate, the guys start by getting sophisticated.

Ready to Roll

We are 10 weeks in, and the guys want to look at the disparity between the best pass-catching RBs and the RBs that just put up points on the ground. Statistically, an RB target is worth 2 to 2.5 times more than a rushing attempt, and TDs are challenging to predict. The top three pass-catching RBs are Rachaad White, Breece Hall, and Alvin Kamara. Breece has not delivered to the capacity managers anticipated, which might even be a concern in dynasty. The big-body bruisers with the most points on the ground are David Montgomery, Derrick Henry, and J.K. Dobbins. Andy has a little doubt about Dobbins if looking at these three guys—Gus Edwards returned this week and looked decent.

News

Trevor Lawrence could miss the rest of the season with a severe AC sprain, and Dak Prescott looks to be out for the rest of the year. The answer in Dallas is not Cooper Rush, by the way. Tyreek Hill is a game-time decision, and Andy suggests Jonnu Smith as a pivot. Dalton Kincaid had a knee injury yesterday and could not return, and Sam LaPorta also left with an injury. Aaron Jones was carted off but did return to the game later.

Studs

Past our Thursday night QB studs, Jalen Hurts was great, and Kyler had one of his best games ever. Brock Purdy looked great with the return of CMC. RB studs include Bijan, Chuba, and Austin Ekeler. Bijan has been on fire lately, and Jason screams for them to stop putting Tyler Allgeier in at the goal line. James Conner is the RB7 on the season, and Joe Mixon was fine, even in a tough matchup.

Once you get past Ja’Marr Chase as a WR stud, it is MVS and Calvin Ridley this week. George Pickens had a ridiculous catch, and Courtland Sutton looked great for Denver. Welcome back, John Metchie, which is probably a blip on the radar, and Ricky Pearsall scored his first TD. Kelce, Andrews, and LaPorta highlighted TEs.

Duds

Jayden Daniels is here, primarily due to the rushing TDs Washington punched in. Even though Baker looked incredible as a football player, he did not deliver for fantasy. C.J. Stroud and Jared Goff threw too many interceptions, and Cousins had zero TDs. Sam Darnold was atrocious. Travis Etienne had a bad game, even with Tank Bigsby going down to injury. Swift did not get it done in a plus matchup, and Rico Dowdle did not deliver, much to Mike’s dismay. It was also a down week for Saquon.

So many of the top-tier WRs did not deliver—Justin Jefferson, Brian Thomas Jr., CeeDee Lamb, and more. All of these guys had targets but could not give their manager fantasy points. D.J. Moore might be done for this year. Cade Otton started hot but went downhill quickly, and Dalton Kincaid’s season looks like a wash. Jake Ferguson might be over, too.

Enjoy the Monday night game!

Tuesday – Week 11 Waivers and Difference Makers, Awesomely Awful

Monday Night Recap

It was an odd Monday night game that ended up being somewhat of a defensive battle. Tyreek got bailed out with a TD, and Matthew Stafford was not good, even though Puka and Kupp were serviceable. The Rams did not have a TD, but Jaylen Waddle did seem to reappear with Hill’s wrist injury coming up. The win in Los Angeles gives Miami some hope.

Difference Makers

The trade deadline is approaching, and Mike is calling his shot on Jauan Jennings. With Aiyuk gone, Jennings has been taking advantage, and he could be a big difference-maker for you. Andy thinks that George Pickens could also be that guy—the combo of him and Russell Wilson is leading to big games. Finally, Jason suggests trying to get the Tampa Bay Bucs defense to stash.

News

The Chiefs plan to designate Isiah Pacheco to return from IR this week. The Chicago Bears have fired Shane Waldren, and Eberflus might be the next to go. The Giants are “evaluating” whether they are sticking with Daniel Jones—if he gets injured, they may have to pay a lot of money. Jameis Winston will continue to start, and Cooper Rush will be the QB1 in Dallas. How bad is Trey Lance?

Waiver Wire

You might be okay this week, but remember that Week 14 will bring us six teams on bye, and you must prepare accordingly. Audric Estime highlights the RB options, as the team seems eager to move on to the young back, and Gus Edwards and Jaylen Warren are great backup RB possibilities. Cam Akers is a priority add if you are the Aaron Jones manager. At WR, you need to check on QJ, Jauan Jennings, and  Ricky Pearsall, but they are more than likely rostered. Going deeper, without Michael Pittman, Adonai Mitchell saw some success, so he must be addressed. The guys have to mention MVS, and dropping Xavier Worthy is okay for Andy.

TE this week is tough with Dalton Kincaid and Sam LaPorta hurting. We are in a Taysom Hill world, and Hunter Henry can also be considered. Defensive options include Detroit, Houston against Cooper Rush, Green Bay against Caleb Williams, and Miami. Lots of options.

Streamers

Andy is streaming Jared Goff, Jason is going with Bo Nix, and Mike is starting Russell Wilson, who is playing Baltimore this week.

Wednesday – Playoff Primer and Trade Targets and League Winners

Hungry for More

We have been hungry for more from T.J. Hockenson all season, and Jason agrees. Mike wants to see more from Quentin Johnston, who has excellent matchups moving forward. Finally, Andy is hungry for more consistency from Kyler Murray.

News

Kyle Shanahan said that George Kittle finished the game Sunday with hamstring irritation that will be monitored. The expectation is that Nico Collins will play this week, and now we tag Andy on Twitter instead of Jason. Trevor Lawrence might return after the bye, and welcome back to Anthony Richardson returning to the starting lineup. Adam Thielen is returning from IR and is a sneaky start after their bye week.

Thursday Night Breakdown

We have a divisional breakdown this week, and the guys are concerned that the defenses here could limit the fantasy goodness. This won’t significantly change who you are starting—all your studs are a go. Dallas Goedert might be the only question mark on the Eagles’ side. Keep an eye on Brian Robinson Jr. and his hamstring but Jason would not start him if he goes.

Playoff Primer

Today, the guys discuss some players who could help you in the fantasy playoffs, mainly because of their schedule. Baker will get Mike Evans back and have some solid matchups; he will be a good option if you do not have a stud. Bo Nix, Kyler Murray, and Jordan Love are also good choices. Some bad schedules go to Josh Allen, Jared Goff, and Sam Darnold. RB-wise, it does not get better than James Conner. Bijan Robinson is the only one who has a chance to top him, and Andy reminds us to pick up their backups. Even with Isiah Pacheco returning, the Chiefs do not have a great matchup in the fantasy playoffs, and Jason says to make other plans. The guys are nervous about Tyrone Tracy but not Joe Mixon.

There are some juicy WR matchups, with the juiciest being Calvin Ridley. Malik Nabers also has a good one, but it is up in the air who will be throwing him the ball. The Packers’ WRs also should benefit, as well as Courtland Sutton. There is panic for the Indy WRs, and the guys are now very nervous about starting Brian Thomas Jr. Jason thinks Hockenson could be a season winner for teams that managed to hold on to him all year. Trey McBride also has an excellent schedule for the TE, and Baltimore and Buffalo TEs might also have issues. The Bengals, Packers, and Falcons are teams to look at for defense. The Cardinals could be used as well.

Thursday – Starts of the Week and Week 11 Breakdown, Over the Bottom!

News

Brian Robinson Jr. will be back on the field for Washington today. D.K. Metcalf practiced in full, and Tee Higgins was limited. The Bills are looking to miss several pass-catchers, and Isiah Pacheco will probably not play this week, which Jason thinks could be a disappointment for fantasy.

Starts of the Week

Mike is starting Russell Wilson, Kareem Hunt, Jauan Jennings, and Tucker Kraft. Andy is going with Justin Herbert, Nick Chubb, George Pickens, and Jonnu Smith. Finally, Jason is starting C.J. Stroud, Josh Jacobs, Calvin Ridley, and T.J. Hockenson.

Fantasy Forecast

The guys start out with an NFC North battle between Green Bay and Chicago. It is up in the air if we will see an offensive bump for the Bears with the firing of their OC. You can start Swift, and that might be it for Chicago. On the Green Bay side, Josh Jacobs and Jayden Reed are a go. Mike says you can start Romeo Doubs based on targets. The Jags take on the Lions, and this could be a blowout. There are few options for Jacksonville—the only one might be Evan Engram. Make sure to keep an eye on Sam LaPorta’s shoulder, but Jason is firing up all the offensive pieces.

Minnesota and Tennessee play in a palindrome game, and this is Jason’s almost upset! You can pass on the Vikings, so Calvin Ridley is a solid start. If you have a better option than Tony Pollard, you should turn that way. Jordan Addison has been disappointing, and Andy suggests moving on. Baltimore and Pittsburgh have a gritty AFC matchup that is Andy’s almost upset. The Steelers’ defense is solid, and the Baltimore weapons could be disappointing for fantasy. Derrick Henry will be a great start, and Zay Flowers is now an every-week start.

Las Vegas heads east to play the Dolphins, and Miami should be able to beat up on a bad team. Andy loves Achane in this game but mentions how Tyreek Hill could have problems with his nagging wrist injury. Raheem Mostert is dead as a flex option after last week. The Rams head to New England to battle the Patriots, and for Los Angeles, it is as simple as Stafford, Puka, and Kupp. For New England, Rhamondre could fall into the end zone but never efficiently. If you need a spot start, Kayshon Boutte is an option. Cleveland and New Orleans battle in the big easy, and the guys think the post-game new coach hype is over. Cedric Tillman has been getting the targets, but his fantasy production has been through TDs. Nick Chubb is startable, and Alvin Kamara might be the only option on the New Orleans side. Do not get too excited for MVS.

Friday – Week 11 Matchups and Bringing the Hammer, Wheel of Shame

Thursday Night Recap

Mike nailed it, and the game was rough fantasy-wise, minus Saquon and the garbage time TD for Daniels and Ertz. If you dared to start Brian Robinson, you were happy, and you were pleased with Saquon’s performance. Number one WRs are getting shut down by Philadelphia, so file that away.

News

There is an expectation that Tank Bigsby will return to practice, and Brian Thomas Jr. is still limited with an injury. Aaron Jones is limited but expected to play, and Tyreek Hill is putting off surgery until after the season. Dalton Kincaid is almost assuredly out this weekend and Tee Higgins was limited with a solid hill run-up. IYKYK.

Fantasy Forecast

The Colts, returning to Anthony Richardson, take on the Jets in our first matchup. Jason is concerned about swinging the pendulum too drastically away from Richardson, but he is not starting any of the Colts’ WRs. Josh Downs could be your only option there. On the New York side, the offensive weapons should all be options for fantasy managers. The Falcons and Broncos battle next, and both are currently in the playoffs! Bo Nix is an option, and you could also start Audric Estime in a pinch, but he should not get much pass-catching work. The Broncos’ defense has been great, and you should temper expectations for Drake London.

Next, we have an NFC West battle between the Niners and the Seahawks. Metcalf should return, which is great for Seattle, and should be a good play. The guys caution chasing JSN’s breakout performance. Fire up your San Francisco studs, and Ricky Pearsall is worth a dart throw. Brock Purdy is a good start. Kansas City and Buffalo play next, and Jason thinks Buffalo will win handily. James Cook will have a tough time against the Kansas City defense, and on the Chiefs’ RB side, Kareem Hunt is Mike’s start of the week.

Sunday night brings us the Bengals and Chargers in Los Angeles. Chase Brown is a beast and is in, and the big decisions surround Tee Higgins and Mike Gesicki. If Higgins starts, Mike will be okay with plugging him in. On the Chargers’ side, you can start Gus Edwards in a week with many RBs on a bye. You might not be happy with Ladd McConkey if he does not score a TD. We end the week with Houston journeying to Dallas to play by the light of the moon. With Cooper Rush back under center, you need CeeDee Lamb to be peppered with targets to be startable, but you are not benching him. Rico Dowdle is now the guy, and Mike is vindicated, but it is a tough matchup. Nico returns for the Texans, and Stroud is Jason’s start of the week. The only worry about Stroud is that he might not have to perform against a stumbling Cowboys team.

The guys reveal their DraftKings lineups, and Mike spins the Wheel of Shame. Good luck this week, FootClan!
