Week 6 is in the books, and what a surprising week it was, just like the rest of this wild season. There are some new key injuries to monitor this week, and we are now deep into bye weeks, so one of the best ways to keep stacking wins is by mastering the art of streaming.

This week, only two teams are on bye once again, but they have several important fantasy pieces: the Buffalo Bills and the Baltimore Ravens. Hopefully, Lamar Jackson will be back from injury after the bye, but in the meantime, you might need a solid streamer to get through the week.

This weekly article is all about offering streaming options for QB, K, DST, and TE based on favorable matchups and other variables, with the goal of helping you squeeze as many points as possible from these positions and walk away with a W.

As always, you can also lean on Andy, Mike, and Jason’s weekly rankings, the Fantasy Footballers Start/Sit tool, and the Ultimate Dashboard, where you’ll find weekly spot-start suggestions based on your league’s availability and tailored to your specific roster.

Let’s dive into Week 7 streamers.

Quarterbacks

Joe FlaccoCincinnati Bengals (14% rostered)

In his Bengals debut, Joe Flacco once again proved he’s good at learning a playbook every time he joins a new team. This time, with just five days on the Bengals, he delivered his best fantasy performance of the season, completing 29 of 45 passes for 219 yards and two TDs with no INTs. He even gave us hope for Ja’Marr Chase’s fantasy season. This week, he gets a juicy divisional matchup against the Steelers, who were allowing the fourth-most fantasy points per game to QBs up until last week’s game against Dillon Gabriel and the Browns. Flacco should be more than capable of leveraging his weapons to inflict damage on this subpar Steelers defense.

Bryce YoungCarolina Panthers (26% rostered)

The Panthers’ offense is starting to click, with two straight wins. Sure, they came against two of the worst defenses in the league: the Miami Dolphins and the Dallas Cowboys. But this week they face the New York Jets, another bottom-tier defense that’s allowing over 20 fantasy points per game to QBs. Last week against Dallas, Bryce Young was just one yard short of 200 passing yards and threw three TDs. If you need a QB, he’s a strong matchup-based option.

Aaron RodgersPittsburgh Steelers (25% rostered)

After one of his best performances of the season against the Browns, completing 21 passes for 235 yards and two TDs with no INTs, Aaron Rodgers is ready to be a fantasy streamer this week when he faces the Cincinnati Bengals. Cincy has been very generous to opposing QBs, allowing over 250 passing yards per game on average. Rodgers may not be the player he once was, but he’s shown he can still be started in favorable matchups for pocket passers, and that’s exactly what he has this week.

Kickers

Matt GayWashington Commanders (56% rostered)

Last Monday, Matt Gay once again proved he should be started in games with high over/under totals. Even though he missed a field goal, he still delivered a strong fantasy outing based on volume. This week, the Commanders visit the Cowboys, who are great on offense and terrible on defense. Perfect conditions for a shootout. This is the highest Vegas total of the season so far, and Washington is projected to score almost 30 points. Matt Gay is an absolute green light this week.

Michael BadgleyIndianapolis Colts (21% rostered)

After Spencer Shrader was placed on IR with a season-ending knee injury, Michael Badgley stepped in and delivered perfectly, converting all five of his kicking attempts. The Colts might be the most improved team this year compared to 2024, and they’ve been scoring consistently. That should continue this week against the Chargers in what projects to be the third-highest scoring game of the week.

Lucas Havrisik or Brandon McManusGreen Bay Packers (1% & 16% rostered)

Last week, Brandon McManus missed a prime kicking matchup against the Bengals due to a quad injury. Lucas Havrisik filled in and was perfect, scoring three extra points and two field goals with no misses. It’s too early to tell if McManus will be back as the starter this week against the Jaguars, but both kickers are widely available, and this is a good matchup. The Packers should offer plenty of scoring chances.

Defense & Special Teams

Kansas City Chiefs (29% rostered)

The Raiders have become one of those teams you can confidently stream defenses against. Geno Smith has had some decent games but has made a lot of mistakes, throwing at least one INT in all but one game this season. The Chiefs’ defense might not be the dominant unit it was last year, but they are still solid enough to be considered a viable streamer this week against Vegas.

Miami Dolphins (4% rostered)

The Dolphins’ defense hasn’t been great this season, far from it. But the Browns’ offense is really struggling. Rookie QB Dillon Gabriel is still trying to figure things out behind a weak offensive line that isn’t giving him much protection. Last week, the Steelers sacked him six times. With this game projected to be low-scoring, the Dolphins D/ST enters streaming consideration.

San Francisco 49ers (31% rostered)

Injuries have hit the 49ers hard on both sides of the ball. On defense, they have now lost Fred Warner for the season, in addition to Nick Bosa. Even so, they still have playmakers who can take advantage of the right matchups, and this week they face the Falcons, who are allowing 3.2 sacks per game on average. The ceiling might not be sky-high, but in a week with few solid DST streamers, the Niners are a viable option.

BONUS: Tight Ends

Dalton SchultzHouston Texans (17% rostered)

Doctor Schultz hasn’t been a fantasy standout this year, but he is trending up. Before the Texans’ bye, he posted his first double-digit fantasy outing of the season against the Ravens. Now, he gets the Seahawks, who have consistently allowed strong performances to TEs. He’s a fine streaming option this week.

Mason TaylorNew York Jets (47% rostered)

Before you rage-drop Mason Taylor after last week’s dud, remember that TEs are rarely consistent. Highs and lows are the norm, especially with rookies. That’s part of why streaming the position based on matchups is usually a good strategy. This week, Taylor should bounce back when he faces the Carolina Panthers, who are now second in fantasy points allowed per game to TEs.
