Fantasy Football: Week 12 Streamers To Consider
With Week 11 now in the books, it’s beginning to look a lot like the fantasy playoffs season. The international games are over, the weather is turning colder, and we’ve only got three more weeks (in most leagues) to secure a place in the playoffs.
That’s why we need to make sure we have the best possible roster each week. And there is no better way to chase that extra upside than by streaming players in favorable matchups. We still have teams on bye in Weeks 12 and 14. This week, we won’t be counting on any Dolphins, Commanders, Chargers, or Broncos. so you might need to plug in one or several disposable heroes for one of your onesie positions, and that’s what this weekly article is all about.
Below, you will find streaming ideas for your QB, K, DST, and TE positions. If you need help choosing between two or more options, don’t forget to check Andy, Mike, and Jason’s weekly rankings and the Fantasy Footballers’ Ultimate Dashboard, where you will find spot‑start suggestions based on your team.
Let’s get to the streamers.
Quarterbacks
Jacoby Brissett – Arizona Cardinals (22% rostered)
Coming off breaking the NFL single‑game completions record, Jacoby Brissett is doing a more than decent job stepping in as a backup QB. His 47 completions last week amounted to 452 yards and two TDs. This week, he faces the Jacksonville Jaguars, who have allowed over 19 fantasy points on average to opposing QBs this season. If your starter is on bye this week, Brissett could help you get a win.
Bryce Young – Carolina Panthers (16% rostered)
The Panthers have been improving as the season progresses. Last week, they had a close win over the Falcons in a game that required them to score a lot, and Bryce Young finished the week scoring over 30 fantasy points. He suffered an ankle injury at the beginning of overtime, so we should monitor this closely until we get some clarity on its severity around Thursday. If he suits up, he will face the 49ers’ banged‑up defense, which has allowed the ninth‑most points per game to QBs. Bryce Young should be in the streamer discussion if healthy.
Aaron Rodgers – Pittsburgh Steelers (54% rostered)
Here we are again, highlighting Aaron Rodgers as a viable streamer. But there is a big “if” this week: he is dealing with a fracture in his left wrist that forced him to miss the second half of last week’s game. Reports say he’s pushing to play, so if he is cleared, he will face the Chicago Bears, whose defense has allowed more passing TDs than the Bengals this season. Even with his injury, if Rodgers suits up, he should be a fine streaming option.
Kickers
Andy Borregales – New England Patriots (5% rostered)
Borregales hasn’t been perfect, but he has had a very solid fantasy season, mainly because the Patriots’ offense keeps moving the chains and getting into scoring range. This week, they face the Cincinnati Bengals in a game where the Patriots are 6‑point favorites and the over/under is 50.5. I wouldn’t be surprised if Borregales hits double‑digit fantasy points this week.
Evan McPherson – Cincinnati Bengals (26% rostered)
Ever since Joe Flacco became the Bengals’ QB, they have become a very fantasy-relevant team. He has notoriously helped the offense, and since their defense is still terrible, they have been forced to score points constantly. This has been very good news to Evan McPherson, who went from an irrelevant fantasy kicker to one of the best streamers. Last week, he nailed both of his field goal attempts, and this Sunday’s matchup against the Patriots is projected to be the second-highest scoring game of the week. If you picked him up last week, leave him on your roster. If not, go and look if he’s available.
Michael Badgley – Indianapolis Colts (16% rostered)
Besides the Patriots-Bengals game, there is another matchup with a 50.5 over/under, and it’s this mouth-watering clash between the Colts and the Chiefs. Even though the Chiefs are listed as favorites, both teams should score plenty of points. Badgley has been good since he replaced Spencer Shrader. In five games, he’s nailed 15 out of 17 field goals and seven out of eight extra-point attempts. The starting kicker for the highest-scoring offense in the NFL shouldn’t be this available.
Defense & Special Teams
Before getting into more available options, go check if by any chance the Seattle Seahawks DST is available in your league. They have been amazing this season, and they will play against the Titans and their QB/sack-magnet Cam Ward. Done, let’s proceed with the streamers:
Las Vegas Raiders (4% rostered)
We’ve seen many low‑scoring games lately. Hopefully, we will get fewer this week, but this specific Raiders vs. Browns matchup stands out as a likely sleepy affair. The over/under is 37.5. The Browns’ QB roulette has been far from spectacular, their offensive line has struggled, and last week, rookie QB Dillon Gabriel suffered a concussion that may keep him out. Regardless of who plays QB for the Browns, the Raiders should be a solid DST streamer this week.
Cleveland Browns (33% rostered)
And of course, we can’t ignore the other side of this snooze fest. The Las Vegas Raiders’ offensive line has also been bad this season, making it very difficult for RB Ashton Jeanty to find a way to consistent explosiveness. Geno Smith has also been inconsistent and has now thrown 13 interceptions and taken 31 sacks. Both units can be streamed in this matchup.
Atlanta Falcons (60% rostered)
The Falcons are this season’s greatest mystery. Their defense can look like a wall in some games and crumble in others. Last week, they had a hard time stopping the Panthers, who have been improving considerably. This week, it should be a different story against the New Orleans Saints. Rookie QB Tyler Shough is still learning the ropes, and Atlanta’s defense should have no problem containing him.
BONUS: Tight End
Hunter Henry – New England Patriots (68% rostered)
Consistency has been Hunter Henry’s main problem this season. But seriously, show me a TE who is truly consistent and I’ll show you two or three names that are obviously rostered in every league. That’s why streaming TEs works, because you only need to use them once in the right matchup. And that is exactly what Hunter Henry has in front of him this week. The Cincinnati Bengals have been by far the most permissive defense to the TE position. Hunter Henry is a trusted target for Drake Maye, and he should be heavily relied upon this week.
