The season is flying by. We’ve already passed the midpoint of the regular season, and the fantasy playoffs are creeping up. Whether you’re sitting comfortably on a nice record or clawing your way up the standings, now is the time to step on the gas to secure a good seed in the upcoming fantasy playoffs.

And what do we need to get more wins? We need to score the most points possible, and one of the best ways to do that is by leveraging the art of streaming. Especially if you have players on bye. This week, the Bengals, Cowboys, Chiefs, and Titans won’t be playing, and that is a lot of fantasy‑relevant players out of our lineups. That’s why we will highlight here some viable streamers for the QB, K, D/ST, and TE positions.

If you’re unsure whether you should stream a player over one of your current starters, you can always lean on Andy, Mike, and Jason’s weekly rankings and the Fantasy Footballers Start/Sit tool.

Let’s dive into the streaming pool!

Quarterbacks

Caleb WilliamsChicago Bears (72% rostered)

Over the past few weeks, Caleb Williams’ rostered percentage has dropped significantly, turning him into a streaming candidate in favorable matchups. Last week, he had a monster performance against the Bengals’ terrible defense. Well, guess what? This week brings an almost equally favorable matchup against the New York Giants, who are allowing nearly 250 passing yards per game and over 20 fantasy points to QBs on average. Caleb Williams has a real chance to keep this on the right track.

J.J. McCarthyMinnesota Vikings (25% rostered)

We talked about J.J. McCarthy last week as a viable streamer, and he delivered both in real life and fantasy, leading the Vikings to a big divisional win. He threw for only 143 yards, but scored two TDs and added a third on the ground. He also rushed nine times, which elevates his floor and gives him upside. This week, he faces the Ravens, whose defense looked much better than usual last week, but it was against the inconsistent Dolphins. I believe McCarthy should still be able to exploit Baltimore’s secondary.

Jaxson DartNew York Giants (78% rostered)

His rostered percentage is climbing, but if he is available in your league, consider him a viable streamer this week against the Bears. It doesn’t matter how banged up the Giants are; Dart has shown fantasy goodness consistently thanks to his rushing volume and dual‑threat potential. Since becoming the starter, he’s ranked as a QB3 in fantasy. Last week, he completed 24 passes for 191 yards and two TDs, added 56 yards and another score on the ground. Dart should be rostered in every league, and this is a good week to start him.

Kickers

Andy Borregales – New England Patriots (4% rostered)

The Patriots’ kicker has been reliable this season. He hasn’t missed a kick attempt since Week 2. That makes him a viable streamer, especially when the offense is expected to score a lot. This week, the Patriots face the Buccaneers in what Vegas projects as a high‑scoring game. Drake Maye has been making big plays, spreading the ball around to all his receivers, and he should give Borregales plenty of kicking opportunities this week.

Matt PraterBuffalo Bills (48% rostered)

Available in just over half of leagues, this 41-year-old veteran has been a viable streamer on multiple occasions this season. That wasn’t the case last week, when he missed his only field‑goal attempt against the Chiefs, but this week he should bounce back against the Dolphins. The over/under for this game is 50.5, with the Bills favored by 8.5, making them the team with the highest point‑total projection this week. I would stream Prater with confidence.

Michael BadgleyIndianapolis Colts (53% rostered)

The Colts are the highest‑scoring team in the NFL so far this season. By far, they’ve scored 290 points in nine games. The second‑place team is the Lions with 239. We know the key for fantasy kickers is to choose ones on offenses that put up a lot of points. However, Michael Badgley is far more available than most kickers on high‑scoring teams. This week, the Colts are 6.5‑point favorites over the Falcons, in what Vegas projects to be one of the highest‑scoring games of the week. Last week, Badgley nailed all four of his kick attempts. If you need a reliable streamer, Badgley is your guy.

DST

Cleveland Browns (20% rostered)

Let’s take advantage of the bye‑week dump here. The Browns’ top‑tier defense is widely available now, and they have a dream matchup against the New York Jets. The over/under for this game is 37.5,  the lowest of the week. The Browns have confirmed they won’t trade Myles Garrett away, so we can be sure he will be on a mission to sack Justin Fields as many times as possible.

Carolina Panthers (3% rostered)

The Panthers are an intriguing team this season. Last week, their defense did an amazing job of containing the Green Bay Packers and set the tone for the win. They recorded a sack, a forced fumble, an INT, and a recovery, but most importantly, they allowed only 13 points to Jordan Love & Co. This week, they will face the Saints with rookie QB Tyler Shough under center, who had his first start last week and didn’t do much damage. I expect a low-scoring game here.

Jacksonville Jaguars (59% rostered)

Another matchup projected for low scoring, and the Jaguars should be able to get an easy win. Last week, the Texans lost CJ Stroud to a concussion, and it is very likely he won’t clear protocol for this game. Davis Mills did a decent job moving the ball, but couldn’t find the end zone. The Jaguars should be able to contain him and keep the score down.

BONUS: Tight End

Cade OttonTampa Bay Buccaneers (35% rostered)

At this point in the season, it’s getting tougher to find widely available TEs to stream. Guys like Kyle Pitts, Oronde Gadsden, and Dallas Goedert have great matchups, but they are all heavily rostered now. However, there’s one name that remains fairly available and should at least give a decent floor this week: Cade Otton. With injuries mounting in Tampa Bay’s receiving corps, Baker Mayfield should lean more on his TE, especially in this matchup against the Patriots, who have allowed the fifth‑most fantasy points to the TE position.
