Cooper Rush, QB (ATL)

Signs with Falcons

Rush signed a contract with Atlanta on Wednesday.

Rush lands with the Falcons to open training camp, giving the team another option at quarterback with both Tua Tagovailoa (back tightness) and Michael Penix (ACL) currently managing injuries. Tagovailoa is expected to return next week, but in the meantime, Rush and undrafted rookie Jack Strand will handle a substantial amount of reps at practice.
