NFL DFS First Look Pricing for Week 13 (Fantasy Football)
Another week and another chance to wipe the slate for DFS. On Tuesday, Betz and myself share some of these insights on the Fantasy Footballers DFS Podcast if you want further commentary on some of the salary standouts.
Every week the First Look article gives you a taste of the slate and some of the more intriguing salaries that DraftKings and FanDuel release. The goal is to identify early week cash game considerations as well as potential tournament plays before we piece together the stacking options.
Check back on Thursday where Matthew Betz and myself share our official DraftKings and FanDuel picks for cash and GPPs exclusively in the DFS Pass.
Here are the games for this week’s main slate:

Tampa Bay Buccaneers
Washington Football Team

Los Angeles Rams
San Francisco 49ers
Week 13 brings us back to a full slate of games although some notable teams (KC, BUF, DAL, GB) will not be joining us this week.
Despite coming off the worst performance of his career, Lamar Jackson ($7800-DK, $8500-FD) is the top-priced QB on both sites. Wash your hands and mind clean of last week and realize the Steelers have allowed top-10 performances to QBs in three of their last four.
- Tom Brady ($7200) against the Falcons feels like easy money. First off, he’s never lost to Atlanta in his career. (Sigh.) But also since becoming a Buccaneer, here are his stat lines against the divisional rival:
Date QB11 2021-01-03 QB3
- Justin Herbert came through this past week as my cash game QB and his salary only increased a “benjamin” to $6700. I like his spot even on the road against Cincinnati.
- Matt Ryan ($5600) might not inspire much confidence with a nerfed offense. But he’s averaged 324 passing yards and 2+ TDs since 2013 against the Bucs at home. As a threat for 300+ passing yards and that bonus, you aren’t crazy to look his way.
- At the bottom of the barrel, can I mention Ben Roethlisberger ($5000) and run and hide? That price is laughable.
