Jordyn Tyson, WR (NO)

Not slated to practice this week

Saints general manager Mickey Loomis said Tuesday that Tyson (hamstring) is "getting closer" but won't practice this week, Ross Jackson of WWL Louisiana reports.

Tyson made the trip to Paris ahead of Sunday's matchup with the Steelers, but he's not ready to have his 21-day practice window opened just yet. While the Saints haven't provided many specifics regarding where Tyson stands in his recovery from a right hamstring strain beyond noting that he's "improving," the team has a bye coming Week 8, so rookie wideout will be afforded more time to get closer to 100 percent before potentially getting back on the field. If Tyson is able to resume practicing coming out of the bye week, he could be a candidate to make his NFL debut as soon as Nov. 8, when the Saints host the Browns.
