Fantasy Football: Week 7 Streamers to Consider
Right in the thick of the fantasy season, teams are beginning to take shape towards being a playoff contender or working their way out of the post-season picture altogether. As we enter yet another week with four teams on bye, finding a spot start gets a little more difficult, but there are still viable starting options for fantasy managers to plug into lineups!
Let’s dive into the streaming options for Week 7!
Quarterbacks
Aaron Rodgers
QB • PIT
It may be difficult to believe that we are sitting here talking about getting Aaron Rodgers into fantasy lineups in 2026, but the start to the season for the Steelers paints a very encouraging picture for fantasy managers. While the star was a little slow, over his last four games Rodgers has been great for fantasy lineups, finishing as a top-12 QB each week. What has fueled the fantasy resurgence for Rodgers has been the 11 TDs he has thrown during that four-game stretch, which currently has him tied for fourth in the league for passing TDs. A matchup against the Saints should provide another opportunity for Rodgers to benefit fantasy lineups, with New Orleans allowing the sixth-most passing yards in the league this season. Rodgers is available in 63% of leagues, so he could be an add-and-play QB for fantasy managers in need.
Jordan Love
QB • GB
For the second week in a row, Jordan Love should be making his way back into fantasy lineups for a spot start. While Love’s matchup against the Cowboys saw him finish as the QB7 on the week, there were plenty of points left on the field from the Packers offense that could have made it an even bigger week for fantasy managers. Luckily, Love gets an even juicier matchup against the Lions in Week 7 to try and make it three-straight weeks as a top-8 QB. Detroit’s defense has allowed the third-most passing TDs in the league through their first five games of the season and has allowed 24 points to opposing QBs in every game. Love was only started in 35% of leagues last week, but should be seen as a must-start heading into Week 7.
Matthew Stafford
QB • LAR
While the start to the season has not been great for the Rams as a whole, the fantasy season has been strong for reigning MVP Matthew Stafford. Through his first six games, Stafford has finished as a top-5 QB three times – as the QB4 each time, to be exact. In the games where Stafford has been effective for fantasy, he has thrown 84% of his passing TDs and has thrown a combined two in the other three games. A matchup with the Raiders in Week 7 should provide a good opportunity for Stafford to get back on track for fantasy lineups. While Las Vegas has been a decent matchup for fantasy QBs, they have allowed a top-10 QB finish in three of their last four games. If the Rams are going to get back on the Super Bowl track, they will need Stafford to be at his best this week, and it should pay off for fantasy managers.
Tight Ends
Tyler Higbee
TE • LAR
Really, this could say “Rams TE” because it’s been a “pick your poison” start to the season when it comes to finding which of the many TEs in the LA offense is going to be the one fantasy managers need to start. While fantasy managers were probably let down by Tyler Higbee being in their lineup last week, he is still the most likely TE to have the most targets from Matthew Stafford. Over his last four games, Higbee has averaged nearly seven targets per game and turned in a pair of top-10 TE finishes. A matchup against the Raiders should be a good chance for Higbee to get back on track for fantasy managers. Twice already this season, Las Vegas has allowed opposing TEs to score 20+ fantasy points. With the usage of the TEs in the Rams offense already well known and the recent injury to Davante Adams, fantasy managers should not shy away from getting Higbee back into their lineups.
Dallas Goedert
TE • PHI
Going back to the Dallas Goedert well again this week after a decent week in Week 6. Over the last two weeks, Goedert has been a strong target earner in the Eagles offense, seeing 17 passes thrown his way over the last 2 weeks from two different QBs. With the Eagles offense kind of a mess, Goedert could be one of the few fantasy options that fantasy managers can rely on through the rest of the season. A matchup against the Cowboys could be another chance for Goedert to be a strong fantasy option at TE again. While the Cowboys have been better over the last few weeks, Dallas allowed 15 fantasy points to opposing TEs in two of their first three games to start the year. Goedert is available in about a third of leagues, so he could still be an add and play for Week 7.
Kenyon Sadiq
TE • NYJ
It has been a hot and cold start to Kenyon Sadiq’s rookie season. Through his first six games, Sadiq’s usage in the Jets offense has been sporadic, but what is encouraging is that when the rookie has gotten opportunity, he has been able to produce for fantasy despite limited touches, with two top-12 TE finishes already this season. What could jumpstart Sadiq’s fantasy is a solid matchup against the Dolphins in Week 7. Miami’s defense has been one of the best matchups to target with TEs for fantasy this season. On the season, the Dolphins offense has already allowed four TDs to opposing TEs, including three in their last three games before the bye. Sadiq may be a bit of a scary start, but he is a decent shot at getting a TD at TE this week.
Defenses
Kansas City Chiefs
D • KC
It’s been an up-and-down start to the season for the Chiefs defense when it comes to fantasy, but it is hard to ignore what they have done in the right matchups. After not recording a sack in three straight games, Kansas City racked up four sacks against the Chargers in Week 6, the second time they have hit that mark this season. The Chiefs matchup against what seems to be a one-dimensional Seahawks offense should be another solid opportunity for strong fantasy performance this week. Through their first six games, Seattle has allowed the seventh-most sacks (16) and has given up 13+ fantasy points to opposing fantasy defenses in each of their last two matchups. The Chiefs are only rostered in 19% of leagues, but could be a solid spot start this week.
Cleveland Browns
D • CLE
We are at the weekly “who is playing the Titans this week” portion of the article, and this week it is the Cleveland defense. While the Titans did score 20+ points for just the second time this season, Sunday against the Colts, their offense really only scored 19 of their 26 points. Even with the departure of Myles Garrett, the Browns defense has been solid to start 2026, recording three sacks in all but one game this season and allowing fewer than 20 points scored in four of their last five games. With a nasty 38.5 total points expected from the oddsmakers in this game, the Browns should get the better end of the deal and could be a solid fantasy play this week against Tennessee.
New York Jets
D • NYJ
Kind of weird to be advocating for the Jets defense, but that is what getting a matchup with the Dolphins does for a team. To be fair, New York’s defense has been much improved from 2025 and has shown they can get after the QB, tied with the fifth-most sacks in the league (17), and that is after not even recording a sack last week against the Patriots. A matchup against the Dolphins, who have scored the fewest points in the league so far this season, should set the Jets up to be a decent streaming DEF for Week 7.
Boom Boom Kicker
Matt Gay
K • LV
While I strongly advise losing Kicker as a position altogether in fantasy, if we are having to find one to stick in a lineup this week, then Matt Gay is the one. Usually, with kickers, fantasy managers should be looking to be connected to a decent offense that just cannot convert enough drives into TDs consistently, and the Raiders are doing exactly that this season. Gay has connected on all seven of his attempts inside 40 yards and is fourth in the league in FGs made.
