The Commanders placed Tunsil (triceps) on injured reserve Monday.
Tunsil is recovering from a surgery he underwent to repair a torn right triceps. The starting left tackle will need to miss at least four weeks on IR before becoming eligible to return to the active roster. In all likelihood, Tunsil will be out far longer than four weeks, likely missing the entirety of the 2026 regular season while he recovers.
