Accrues 90 total yards, TD in win

Fournette rushed 15 times for 81 yards and a touchdown and secured two of four targets for nine yards in the Buccaneers' 38-3 win over the Bears on Sunday.

It was a highly efficient day for the Buccaneers ground game as a whole, as Fournette's backfield mates Ronald Jones (10-63) and Ke'Shawn Vaughn (5-27) also averaged over 5.0 yards per carry. Fournette's yardage total equaled his second highest of the season, matching the number he just recorded in Week 6 against the Eagles, while his two-yard rushing touchdown in the first quarter was his fourth in the last three contests. Despite the relative proximity in rushing touches between Fournette and Jones on Sunday, it should be noted that the situation appeared to be a byproduct of a game script that allowed the Bucs to turn to a very run-heavy approach after building up a 32-point first-half lead. Fournette will now look to make inroads against an extremely tough Saints run defense in a Week 8 road divisional battle.
