NFL DFS DraftKings Cash Picks: Week 14 (Fantasy Football)
NFL DFS cash games are all about building a high floor lineup that can win in head to heads, 50/50s, and double-ups. Each week I’ll highlight my favorite cash game picks that I have some confidence heading into the weekend to put into my player pools. Quarterbacks
Cam Newton $5,400
Newton burned a lot of people two weeks ago when he was a popular play in cash games, but he continues to project well at this $5,400 price tag. Cam has now started two games with Carolina, posting 26 DK points against Washington in Week 11 and just 8 points in Week 12 against a surging Dolphins defense in Week 12 before the team’s bye. It’s totally fair to question whether you can trust Newton based on his dud of a performance the last time we saw him on the field, but the matchup this week is beautiful. The Falcons have allowed 27.7 real life points per game to opposing offenses on the year, 2nd most in the NFL. They’re also 31st against the QB position in fantasy DvP rankings and bottom five in both EPA per pass attempt allowed and pass success rate allowed. Of course, Cam’s ability to throw the football is fair to question, but in this spot, Newton has no excuses as the Falcons rank dead last in pressure rate and sack rate. And, of course, we know Cam has the ability to find the end zone with his legs.
