The Fantasy Footballers’ 2026 QB Rankings
2025 felt like an odd year for QBs, mainly due to injuries to top-tier guys like Joe Burrow, Lamar Jackson, Jayden Daniels, Kyler Murray, and Baker Mayfield, to name a few. This gave us a chance to focus more closely on up-and-coming QBs. Some were able to shine, like Drake Maye and Jaxson Dart, who tied for fourth in fantasy points per dropback among QBs. Some fell off, like Bo Nix and J.J. McCarthy – but one man kept us grounded and performed as we would expect: Josh Allen. He is currently the all-time leader in FPPG at the QB position, and spoiler alert: he is on this list.

10. Dak Prescott (DAL)

Sleeper ADP: 9.02 (QB11)
At #10, we can conveniently sum up Dak in under 10 words: he is a discounted potential top-tier QB. With the high-powered offense of the Dallas Cowboys, he has the opportunity to be a top-five guy. Last year, this team averaged 59 combined points per game – being forced to make up for their horrific defense. Dak rose to the occasion with a career-high of 4,552 passing yards and 600 pass attempts. He is a comfortable pick at QB11 according to Sleeper.
The only thing to be wary of with Dak: last year there was a major split in his FPPG when accounting for wins vs losses, seeing an average of 24 vs. 12.7 FPPG respectively. If you take Dak, you will need to be aware of the matchups ahead of time and plan to take a streamer if the week’s matchup looks unfavorable.

9. Caleb Williams (CHI)

Caleb Williams feels like a story of great potential. It seems like he has everything he needs to explode for fantasy – he is young, runs the ball, is led by one of the best play-callers in the NFL, supported by a beastly O-line, and he has strong passing targets. So, what is the problem?
The problem is his lack of consistency and accuracy. Caleb notoriously has an abysmal completion percentage below 60%, and he scored less than 20 fantasy points in 35% of his games.
The optimism for Caleb depends on the belief in his talent and the talent around him. This will be his second season with Ben Johnson, Rome Odunze, Luther Burden III, and Colston Loveland. 2026 feels like the year to shine; if not, we will have a different conversation on our hands next year.

8. Trevor Lawrence (JAX)

Sleeper ADP: 8.10 (QB10)
Trevor Lawrence finally had a shining season, and the positives are very similar to what we just covered with Caleb Williams. Trevor seems to have found his match in Liam Coen; the offense was incredibly strong, and he made some magic in the run game. Trevor’s rushing TD production increased from three in 2024 to nine in 2025, and he was on pace for 400 rushing yards in the second half of the year when the team seemed to finally hit their stride. While you can expect his rushing TDs to go down, Liam Coen historically favors rushing opportunities for his QBs, so you can bet that the performance will still be strong in 2026.
Where can things go wrong for Trevor Lawrence? The Jacksonville Jaguars have the sixth-toughest strength of schedule for 2026 according to Warren Sharp, and five out of six games to start the season are against tough defenses. This could signal a slow start to the year for Trevor, which is not what you want for your fantasy team.

7. Jaxson Dart (NYG)

There is a tale of two stories for Jaxson Dart heading into 2026.
We will start with scenario one. Dart had an incredible rookie year despite his lack of weapons. He tied Drake Maye for fourth in fantasy points per dropback among QBs, and he was a beast on the ground, averaging 41 rushing yards per game in his starts, the fifth-best among rookie QBs EVER. Looking at Dart’s rushing fantasy points per game in his 11 starts, he ranked 14th among all players. He was an absolutely incredible fantasy QB in the second half of 2025 with all of the potential in the world to deliver in 2026.
Now, the not-so-rosy scenario two. Last year, Dart relied on no-huddle situations where he used his athleticism and scrambling abilities to string together plays. This year, under Matt Nagy, this style of play is not expected, as Nagy’s offenses ranked 31st in no-huddle rate over the last three years. On top of that, Cam Skattebo and Malik Nabers will return to form eventually, and that will take some of the weight off of Dart to be a single-man offense resulting in less production.
Realistically, it will probably be a mix of these two trains of thought, but Dart is currently going in the eighth or ninth round of drafts. For a guy who has the potential to be a top-five QB, there is no harm in taking shots for the upside.

6. Drake Maye (NE)

Sleeper ADP: 8.05 (QB9)
Drake Maye had his coming-out party last year. He was an MVP candidate, completed 72% of his passes, and threw for over 4,331 yards on the season. With 12 top-12 finishes (the most among all QBs in 2025), he has proven that he can be an elite fantasy football QB. More impressively, he did all of this with limited weapons on the field. Looking forward to 2026, the New England Patriots added A.J. Brown and Romeo Dobbs, adding strong talent to the passing game.
The skepticism around Drake Maye comes twofold: can he continue to perform at a high level with a much more difficult schedule? And, are you willing to draft him in the fifth round with that uncertainty? Andy, Jason, and Mike have him ranked at QB5, QB7, and QB6, respectively. Sleeper has him at QB3 – so, although they think he will be a high performer, the draft price will be too high to see him on many of their fantasy teams.

5. Joe Burrow (CIN)
Andy 6 / Jason 4 / Mike 4
Sleeper ADP: 5.10 (QB4)
Joe Burrow, our beloved Joey B. Half of his NFL seasons have been plagued by season-ending injuries, landing him at QB25 twice and QB29 last season. It is absolutely heartbreaking because we know what this guy can do when he and his WR dynamic duo are healthy, PLUS add in Chase Brown and this offense is almost unstoppable. When Burrow has been healthy, he finished as QB8, QB4, and QB3.
Heading into 2026, there is strong optimism around the Cincinnati Bengals. Everyone is healthy right now, but don’t say that too loud. To sweeten this deal, the Bengals have the third-easiest strength of schedule in 2026 according to Warren Sharp and THE easiest strength of schedule for WRs according to Andy Holloway. Is it too good to be true?

4. Jalen Hurts (PHI)

Sleeper ADP: 6.08 (QB6)
The 2025 season was the least productive fantasy season for Jalen Hurts since his rookie year. He had only 421 rushing yards and eight rushing TDs on the year, which is well below what we’ve seen from him in the past. It could be chalked up to the lack of creativity and effort by the OC, Kevin Patullo, or the fact that the o-line was banged up. Regardless, Hurts is under scrutiny, and it is reflected in his draft price.
At 27 years old, it is not time to throw in the towel on Hurts yet. He has shown us time and time again that he is an elite QB, and it is not hard to bet on his rushing TDs bouncing back past double-digits to put him in a position to score more fantasy points. We will see where the new OC, Sean Mannion, can take this offense. Right now, the ADP on Hurts is fair, and you can be comfortable taking him in the sixth.

3. Jayden Daniels (WAS)

Jayden Daniels is a rushing machine, and that is exactly what you want from your fantasy QB. In 2024, he had 148 rush attempts with an all-time record of 75 scrambles. This was a major contributing factor to his finishing as the QB5 in 2024. Unfortunately, with his injury last year, that is really all we have to go on.
Moving into 2026, the Washington Commanders hired David Blough as their new OC, and the team has the second-highest vacated target share in the NFL. Jayden’s injury last year, plus the ambiguity around the offensive scheme and weapons, makes him a risky pick at his current ADP.

2. Lamar Jackson (BAL)

Sleeper ADP: 4.03 (QB2)
Optimism is high for the Baltimore Ravens. They extended Zay Flowers, they are favored in their first six games of the year, and they have the greatest rushing QB of NFL history under center. That being said, no one can deny that Lamar had a tough year last year, averaging 16.5 FPPG and coming in at QB20. He was clearly injured, and he missed time, which resulted in his lowest rushing yards per game ever. The question you have to ask is: Will Lamar get back to 700+ rushing yards on the season? If you think yes, then draft him where he is.

Baltimore will have a new offensive system under Declan Doyle, but they have a smooth schedule and are favored in their first six games. It is a great opportunity to start your fantasy season off strong.

1. Josh Allen (BUF)

Capping this off, no one at all will be surprised that Josh Allen is ranked at #1. He is an absolute beast. Talking about records, he is the all-time leader in FPPG scored at QB and QB rushing TDs. He is not a one-trick pony either – he can also succeed through the air. In 2021, he was the QB1 with 35 passing TDs. Josh Allen can fire on all cylinders, and he has shown us season after season. You will not regret drafting him.
