Coach Kevin O'Connell said Jefferson (ankle) "is doing well" and will be a limited practice participant Wednesday.

This will mark Jefferson's first on-field work since he suffered a sprained left ankle in the second quarter of a Week 3 win at Tampa Bay. Jeremy Fowler of ESPN.com reported Saturday morning that the Vikings are hopeful that Jefferson will return to action in Week 5, and his ability to practice in any capacity Wednesday is a step in that direction.
