Jordan Addison, WR (MIN)

Nursing hamstring soreness

Addison (hamstring) won't practice Wednesday, Alec Lewis of The Athletic reports.

Head coach Kevin O'Connell said Addison has some hamstring soreness after he played 75 of 78 offensive snaps against the Dolphins last Sunday. With Justin Jefferson (ankle) missing that game versus Miami, Addison turned six targets into a 4-52-0 receiving line, as he took a back seat to T.J. Hockenson, who hauled in all 13 of his targets for 119 yards. The Vikings made a couple wideout additions to the practice squad Wednesday.

Opportunity boost likely Sunday

Jennings is in line to see a boost in targets as the Vikings' No. 2 receiver for Sunday's Week 4 matchup against the Dolphins, due to Justin Jefferson (hamstring) being ruled inactive for the contest.

Aiming to return Week 5

Jefferson (ankle) has been already been ruled out for Sunday's game against the Dolphins, but the Vikings are hopeful that the superstar wide receiver will return for Week 5 against the Saints, Jeremy Fowler of ESPN reports.
