May be able to practice this week
Eskridge (concussion) is expected to return to Seattle on Wednesday and potentially practice Thursday, John Boyle of the Seahawks' official site reports.
Eskridge has been away from the team recently to take in a visual training program in Florida, as one of the side effects of his Week 1 concussion was "some visual things that he was working on and that's what he's been focusing on," coach Pete Carroll said Wednesday. The rookie second-rounder apparently is in "great shape and ready to go," but it remains to be seen where he stands in the NFL's protocol for head injuries. If he's back on the practice field Thursday or Friday -- to do so, the Seahawks must designate him to return from IR -- Eskridge may not have enough time to complete the final phases and get cleared for Sunday's game versus the Jaguars. Still, he seems to be rounding into shape after missing six consecutive contests.
