Injuries and players missing time for other reasons are always a big deal in fantasy football but even more so in DFS where one player’s issues can completely alter an entire game and the next man up mantra becomes vital due to the salary cap nature of DFS. Thus, it’s important to stay on top of all injury/suspension/holdout news before locking in your DFS lineups.

Here are the most relevant players in danger of missing time or returning to action in Week 8:

OUT for the Steelers: Martavis Bryant
Upgrade: Antonio Brown, JuJu Smith-Schuster, and Eli Rogers
Bryant’s suspension opens a lot of opportunities within this offense. It may not seem like it, but Bryant is third on the team in targets behind only Antonio Brown and Le’Veon Bell. That means, even more, targets for Brown, who already leads the league in targets by a wide margin. And Smith-Schuster instantly becomes a very intriguing GPP play as he should benefit the most from Bryant’s absence against a Lions defense that has given up the 11th most passing yards per game.

Likely IN for the Vikings: Stefon Diggs
OUT for the Vikings: Sam Bradford
Upgrade: Stefon Diggs and Case Keenum
Diggs couldn’t be in a better spot to win you a GPP. Players are always lower owned than they should be when returning from injury. ALWAYS. It never fails. Take advantage. Diggs is one of the best WRs in the league and already has four TDs on the year despite only playing in five games. Now he gets a matchup with a Browns defense that ranks seventh worst in pass DVOA. Diggs upside makes a Keenum/Diggs stack intriguing in tourneys that include the early London game.
