Week 15 DFS Injury Impact
Injuries and players missing time for other reasons are always a big deal in fantasy football but even more so in DFS where one player’s issues can completely alter an entire game and the next man up mantra becomes vital due to the salary cap nature of DFS. Thus, it’s important to stay on top of all the injury and suspension news before locking in your DFS lineups.
Here are the most relevant players on the main slate in danger of missing time or returning to action in Week 15:
IN for the Packers: Aaron Rodgers
Upgrade: Jordy Nelson, Davante Adams, and Randall Cobb
HEEE’SSS BAAACKKK!!!!! The legend returns on Sunday and immediately upgrades the entire offense. Rodgers, who is all but guaranteed to be low owned due to time off and injury concerns, is absolutely in play in tournaments. We’re talking about a guy that had thrown for 300+ yards or at least three TDs in every game this season before his injury. Too small of a sample size for you? Let’s zoom out and examine Rodgers’ 4,428 passing yards, 40 pass TDs, 369 rushing yards, and 4 rush TDs from a year ago over a larger sample size of 16 games. And even in a supposed “down year” for Rodgers in 2015, he still posted 3,821 passing yards, 31 pass TDs, 344 rushing yards, and 1 rush TD.
And Jordy Nelson is relevant again! Over the last two seasons, Jordy has averaged 13.56 more PPR points per game with Aaron Rodgers on the field. Davante Adams has been killing it all year. And Randall Cobb will also see an upgrade.
