Drew Brees vs CAR $8,100 & Cam Newton @ NO $8,100

These are my number one and number two ranked tournament quarterbacks this week. First of all, the 48 point total is the second highest on the board and it’s in a controlled environment inside the dome. Let’s start with Brees. The Panthers rank fifth best in rush DVOA defense according to Football Outsiders. As good as they’ve been they’ll have a hard time with the one two punch of Mark Ingram and Alvin Kamara, which could mean a few more throws for Brees. He tossed three touchdowns on them earlier in the season, in Carolina. This Panthers pass defense is not as good as people think. They allowed 307 yards and three touchdowns last week to Josh McCown.
