Injuries and players missing time for other reasons are always a big deal in fantasy football but even more so in DFS where one player’s issues can completely alter an entire game and the next man up mantra becomes vital due to the salary cap nature of DFS. Thus, it’s important to stay on top of all the injury and suspension news before locking in your DFS lineups.

Here are the most relevant players on the main slate in danger of missing time or returning to action in Week 13:

OUT for the Panthers: Curtis Samuel
Questionable for the Panthers: Greg Olsen and Christian McCaffrey
Likely OUT for the Saints: Marshon Lattimore
Upgrade: Devin Funchess
This appears to be the perfect storm for Devin Funchess. Kelvin Benjamin was traded, Curtis Samuel was lost for the season, Greg Olsen got injured again in his first game back last week, and Christian McCaffrey is dealing with a shoulder injury. And playing on the road in New Orleans in a game with a current Over/Under of 48 points, we know Cam Newton is going to have to throw. Devin Funchess could hit double-digit targets with ease. Plus, it looks like his matchup just got much more favorable as standout rookie cornerback Marshon Lattimore is going to miss another game as well.

OUT for the Packers: Ty Montgomery
Questionable for the Packers: Aaron Jones
Upgrade If Aaron Jones Does Not Play: Jamaal Williams
With Aaron Jones and Ty Montgomery out due to injuries, Williams has averaged 25 opportunities per game over the Packers’ last two contests. That’s a significant amount of action. Plus, Williams gets to play at home against a Buccaneers defense that ranks 13th worst in run DVOA. If Aaron Jones is ruled out, lock Williams into your cash lineup without any hesitation.
