Week 10 DFS Injury Impact
Injuries and players missing time for other reasons are always a big deal in fantasy football but even more so in DFS where one player’s issues can completely alter an entire game and the next man up mantra becomes vital due to the salary cap nature of DFS. Thus, it’s important to stay on top of all injury/suspension/holdout news before locking in your DFS lineups.
Here are the most relevant players in danger of missing time or returning to action in Week 10:
OUT for the Cowboys: Ezekiel Elliott
Upgrade: Dak Prescott, Dez Bryant, Alfred Morris, Darren McFadden, and Rod Smith
With the Zeke drama FINALLY over…for now, reports are that Dallas’ backfield is going to be a three-headed monster in this game between Morris, McFadden, and Smith. Therefore, there’s not enough guaranteed workload for me to get excited about any of them. However, in Zeke’s absence, I expect Dallas to take to the air more and that increases the upside of Dak Prescott and Dez Bryant against a Falcons defense that ranks eighth worst in pass DVOA.
OUT for the Buccaneers: Jameis Winston and Mike Evans
Upgrade: Ryan Fitzpatrick, Cameron Brate, DeSean Jackson, and Adam Humphries
With Jameis out, Fitzpatrick is in play because he’s cheap and at home against a Jets defense that ranks ninth worst in pass DVOA. And with Mike Evans suspended, expect more targets for Cameron Brate, DeSean Jackson, and Adam Humphries as well.
