Each week we will review some of the content found in the DFS Pass and discuss some of our most confident plays heading into Sunday. Week 3 DFS Main Slate Podcast

Locked-In Cash Plays

Borg – You have him in your lineup and you know I do too… KEENAN ALLEN! The fact his price on DraftKings was basically abandoned at $4700 is essentially DFS malpractice. Ignore the name for a second and consider any WR seeing a 26% target share or 28% TPRR. That is elite. The only WRs with a higher 1st downs per route run (15.8%) number than him: Puka and JSN. Click button and cancel him out in your H2Hs. In tournaments, he still seems like good chalk to me but obviously I am super unbiased about him.

Betz – Zach Charbonnet is Doubtful with a foot injury, opening up Kenneth Walker as a top-two RB play on the slate when you adjust for cost. The Seahawks want to run the football, and in this game at home against the Saints where they’re seven-point favorites, this is an awesome spot to feed Walker in a bell cow role. For context, their current RB3, George Holani, has yet to record an offensive snap this year.

DraftKings Core Plays

These are the 3-5 players at each position we have mixed in our cash player pool. Based on salaries, late news, and budget constraints, it is guaranteed you will not be able to fit in all of them. But their high floors and team-implied totals make them great plays for the week in both cash & GPPs.

These are simply in order of favorite core players. You obviously won’t be able to fit all in a cash lineup and there are salary tradeoffs for paying up at each position.

We are toying with lineups that allow us to pay up at the premium positions of RB & WR this week. In order to do that, paying down with Marcus Mariota or Carson Wentz in cash is certainly viable. We prefer Mariota given his success in this Washington offense last year (two top-10 finishes despite starting zero games) and his mobility. At $4,000, you are needing 12 points in cash, but our projections have him much higher. If you don’t want to mess around, Drake Maye can repeat what he did last week and Justin Herbert feels so safe even against the Denver defense. Stacking up players in the DAL/CHI game is going to be at the top of our GPP priorities.
