Broncos WR Tim Patrick is somehow still available in a majority of leagues despite scoring double-digit fantasy points in six out of the last nine weeks. WRs Courtland Sutton and Jerry Jeudy are the fancy names among the receivers, but Patrick is still able to get the job done. With Jeudy finally healthy, defenses are forced to split their time between all three, giving Patrick more opportunity for success. He had his best game on Sunday with both Sutton and Jeudy on the field. He may not give you a giant ceiling, but he does have the opportunity to be successful, even in a crowded receiving corps.
There are three teams that have openings for a dominant wide receiver to emerge. They are the Jets, Saints, and Falcons. On the far less flashy side, the Jets WRs between Keelan Cole and Elijah Moore are two names that have opportunity rest of season. The only wild card will be QB Zach Wilson’s return. With Mike White and Josh Johnson under center, both receivers have been productive with Moore finally having his breakout game in Week 9. Out of the two, Moore is the more explosive option with a much higher ceiling.
The Saints are little murkier but also have quarterback questions of their own. With Jameis Winston out for the season, the Saints elected to move forward with Trevor Siemian, which was a bit of a head scratcher. It didn’t go so well, so it may only be a matter of time before they go back to their trusty gadget player in Taysom Hill. Either way, deciding between Marquez Callaway and Tre’Quan Smith is not an easy decision. It’s likely that both receivers will have to combine to make up for the loss of Michael Thomas with a little bit of Deonte Harris thrown in. Callaway is a boom or bust, and Smith needs to get his NFL legs underneath him after missing most of the season. Either way, Smith may be the safer option out of the Saints receivers.
Finally, let’s look at the Falcons and the void they have to fill with Calvin Ridley away from football. I want to impart a word of caution… do NOT go chasing points with Olamide Zaccheaus. Yes, he had an excellent game with two touchdowns, but those came on only three targets. That kind of production is nearly impossible to predict week-to-week. Instead, WR Russell Gage has been quietly productive but has yet to find the end zone. He saw eight targets and hauled in seven of them for 64 yards against the Saints. QB Matt Ryan is getting on a roll, so Gage should continue to see the looks along with Cordarrelle Patterson and Kyle Pitts.

2015 called. They want Devonta Freeman back.
I cannot believe we are here at this juncture in 2021, but Devonta Freeman should be at the top of your waiver priority for running backs for Week 10. The Ravens seems allergic to playing to Ty’Son Williams and are going with Freeman for the touches while Latavius Murray is out. He had 13 carries for 79 yards and caught two receptions on three targets for four yards and touchdown in their battle against the Vikings. The Ravens will face Miami this week who are ninth-worst against the run in the NFL. Le’Veon Bell is still there to snipe touchdowns at the goal-line and QB Lamar Jackson will continue to be a threat on the ground. However, Freeman has earned the trust of the coaching staff (for now) so you should be able to get a good week out of him against the Dolphins.
The Ravens aren’t the only team with head-scratching backfields to try to figure out. The Eagles and the Patriots are right there with them. After being activated off of the couch… I mean… the practice squad (wink, wink), Jordan Howard has seen double-digit fantasy points in the last two weeks, added five more carries onto his 12 carry debut, and seems to be the only constant in the backfield through the last two weeks. With Miles Sanders on injured reserve, HC Nick Siriani is plaguing fantasy managers with a game of tag between Boston Scott and Kenny Gainwell. Howard remains the only stable option until Sanders can return.
Finally, Rhamondre Stevenson has started to carve out a roll for himself in the New England backfield just in time to suffer a head injury that took him out of the game in the fourth quarter. Before that, he logged 10 carries for 62 yards and caught both of his targets for 44 yards. RB Damien Harris also suffered a head injury so if Stevenson is on your radar, keep an eye on the practice reports and be prepared to sit him this week.

Tight Ends
Team | Player | Roster % | Upcoming |
NE | Hunter Henry | 77% | vs CLE @ ATL vs TEN |
WAS | Logan Thomas | 55% | vs TB @ CAR vs SEA |
PIT | Pat Freiermuth | 49% | vs DET @ LAC @ CIN |
JAX | Dan Arnold | 39% | @ IND vs SF vs ATL |
MIN | Tyler Conklin | 36% | @ LAC vs GB @ SF |
I think we can say that it’s official and the Muth is Luth. Against one of the best defenses versus tight ends, Pat Freiermuth excelled in clutch plays for Ben Roethlisberger and posted two touchdowns against the Bears on Monday night. He is still widely available and has been working in tandem with WR Diontae Johnson as JuJu Smith-Schuster is out for the season.
Another tight end who should be available is Tyler Conklin. His final stat-line wasn’t super flashy, but QB Kirk Cousins looked for him often during their matchup against the Ravens. He was only able to bring in five of his eight targets, but the Vikings are finding themselves in close-call scenarios every week. Cousins will need to continue to throw in final drives, which gives Conklin the opportunity to be successful in favorable matchups.
