NFL Week 11 Weather Conditions (Fantasy Football)
Now is my favorite time of year for fantasy football. About half of your leaguemates are either completely checked out or going through the motions. Even if you’re under .500, you have a shot at the playoffs where anything can happen. We’ve gotten really lucky with the weather the past few weeks and this week doesn’t seem too bad either. It is looking rough in Cleveland, but I’d not sure anyone was expecting fireworks out of that game anyways. It’s also going to be rainy and cool in a few other games though nothing too severe. I will do a final look Sunday morning because some of the weather issues this week could change just based on timing.

Update: Tim Boyle will get the start over Jared Goff in rainy Cleveland and Kyler Murray is trending in the wrong direction to start today with light rain in the forecast in Seattle.
Indianapolis @ Buffalo: Winds have kicked up to around 17 mph sustained and light rain expected in the second half. It shouldn’t have a huge impact on either team, but longer kicks will be precarious with whipping winds.

Fantasy Impact: Most of the game will be played in a light rain, but there will be times when it picks up. We can expect a slippery ball with some sloppy play. Baker Mayfield is already dealing with a myriad of injuries and the weather makes him unplayable along with his receiving threats. Nick Chubb should get all of the carries he can handle with D’Ernest Johnson mixing in. Johnson may still have some flex appeal if Detroit looks as bad as I expect.
In ideal conditions, Jared Goff is the Mendoza line of quarterback play. He’s just competent enough to hold on to a starting roll, but doesn’t offer much else. Goff is even worse in adverse weather conditions. Not that Goff has been lighting it up this year anyways, but he’s unplayable even in superflex formats. D’Andre Swift should get a monumental workload again. Hopefully T.J. Hockenson can reel in something approaching 50% of his targets and not put up another nothing-burger.

Fantasy Impact: Most of the rain will be light, but expect it to come down heavier around the third quarter. Expect Tennessee to grind out the game capping Ryan Tannehill‘s upside, which spills over to A.J. Brown.
Tyrod Taylor is a risky start, but his rushing upside gives him some DFS appeal. Brandin Cooks should dominate the Houston target share as normal, but the rain won’t help his upside.

Fantasy Impact: It will probably be clear at kickoff, but rain is expected to move in around halftime and come down heavier as the game progresses. Kyler Murray is already and game-time decision and the rain certainly doesn’t help. Mix in the continued absence of DeAndre Hopkins and you’re probably forced to sit Murray.
On the other side of the ball, Russell Wilson is looking to bounce back from a really rough looking start last week. I wouldn’t expect him to have a massive game but a multi-TD outing with around 250 yards seems plausible, which should help D.K. Metcalf and Tyler Lockett get back on track.
