Biggest Studs
Taysom Hill (TIGHT END)
Week 11 vs ATL: 18 completions for 233 yards | 10 rushes for 51 yards & 2 TD | 1 Fumble
Upcoming Schedule: @DEN, @ATL — Fantasy Playoffs: @PHI, KC, MIN
Hill had a fine week as an NFL QB but was great for fantasy because of his rushing production. In some platforms, Hill was eligible as a Tight End this week. This was a hot topic over the weekend since we found out that he would be the starting QB in Drew Brees’ absence. I, for one, and strongly against the TE eligibility for Taysom Hill. I believe this was a wildly unfair advantage that grossly compromised the integrity of fantasy football. For context, Taysom Hill had a better fantasy day than Travis Kelce has had in the past two seasons.
Regardless of my opinion or your opinion about Taysom Hill’s TE eligibility, you can’t fault anyone for playing him in the TE spot. They followed the rules! Under the rules that they had no control over, they made a smart decision. I can tell you firsthand that I lost this week in my main league because my opponent played Hill. I lost fair and square.
Moving forward, Hill is no longer eligible in the TE slot. As a QB, he should be considered a streamer, especially considering he faces Atlanta again in Week 13…
Adam Thielen
Week 11 vs DAL: 8 receptions on 11 turrets for 123 yards & 2 TD
Upcoming Schedule: CAR, JAX — Fantasy Playoffs: @TB, CHI, @NO
Thielen had his best game of the season against a porous Dallas defense. After four straight weeks with four or fewer receptions, it’s nice to see him as a focus on the offense again. Thielen has been having the best year of his career from a fantasy perspective. He has five games above 18 fantasy points! He also has three games below 5 points, but he’s otherwise been excellent. Thielen also had an incredible one-handed catch on Sunday. Check it out below:

Keenan Allen
Week 11 vs NYJ: 16 receptions on 19 targets for 145 yards & 1 TD | 1 fumble
Upcoming Schedule: @BUF, NE — Fantasy Playoffs: ATL, @LV, DEN
Keenan Allen has been incredibly productive this season but doesn’t get as much recognition as some of the other big names. Allen is the WR5 on the season (points-per-game basis), and he’s pacing all receivers in targets (112). Since Herbert took over in Week 2, Allen has seen double-digit targets in seven of nine games. Allen is one of the most valuable fantasy commodities. He shouldn’t ever leave your lineup.
J.K. Dobbins
Week 11 vs TEN – 15 rushes for 70 yards & 1 TD | 2 rushes for 15 yards
Upcoming Schedule: @PIT (Thanksgiving), DAL — Fantasy Playoffs: @CLE, JAX, NYG
Dobbins is a stud. He came into the league as a top-3 NFL rookie prospect. This past week, he received the most opportunities (17) of his young career. He turned that into 17.5 fantasy points, good for RB6 overall on the week Dobbins has elite talent and is productive for fantasy when given opportunities on the field. So far this season, he’s been incredible:
- 5.3 yards per carry
- 7% of carries ≥ 15 yards (ranked 6th)
- 1.8 yards created per touch, which ranks 7th overall (yards after first evaded tackle)
- He’s got MY GUY Pat Ricard (Pro Bowler | #42 | FB) blocking for him.

- Fullbacks matter a lot folks, just ask Warren Sharp
Let's talk fullbacks
FBs provide a key value that often gets overlooked, even in the spread passing age of the NFL
From the father of the West Coast offense, Bill Walsh:
"The FB is the most critical part of our passing game because he's the one that's most difficult to handle" pic.twitter.com/s2zOmvm3Jf
— Warren Sharp (@SharpFootball) July 23, 2020
Update: Dobbins tested positive for Covid-19 on Monday 11/23. Let’s hope for a speedy recovery. In the fantasy world, this means his upcoming availability is in question.
Biggest Stinker
Tua Tagovailoa
Week 11 @ DEN: 11 completions for 20 yards for 83 yards & 1 TD
Upcoming Schedule: @NYJ, CIN — Fantasy Playoffs: KC, NE, @LV
Tua has been uninspiring so far in his young career. In four starts, he’s thrown for under 170 yards three times. From a fantasy perspective, he only has one game with 15+ fantasy points. Tua entered the season as the second most exciting rookie quarterback and has quickly been overtaken by Justin Herbert. What’s even more concerning is that Tua was benched – literally benched! – partway through the game. Like many others, I thought he left the game after an injury because it looked like his foot got twisted. It came out later that he’s not injured and the Chargers coaching staff felt Ryan Fitzpatrick gave them the best chance to win the game. That is incredibly concerning. The Ballers shared their opinion on the podcast that they don’t believe benching a rookie QB has a huge impact on their future potential. Regardless, the “tank for Tua” crowd has been quiet of late. Tua has plenty of time to grow, but he’s off to a poor start in his NFL career.
