The Fantasy Footballers: Mock Draft Podcast Recap June 2025
Just before Jason escaped for his European vacation, the Fantasy Footballers got the gang together for one last mock draft to cap off the month of June!
The mock draft used the following settings: 12 teams starting 1QB, 2RB, 2WR, 1TE and a FLEX with four bench spots and full PPR.
Andy drew the 1.01, Jason got the 1.04 and Mike had the 1.08 with an array of writers and staff – including a Betz, a Borg, the resident pizza-loving billionaire, a giant loser and the Toilet King – filling in the remaining spots.
Make sure to check out Andy, Mike and Jason’s tier-based rankings as you’re mocking your way into draft season and put your mock drafts to the test with the Draft Analyzer starting July 1!
Round 1
Andy – Ja’Marr Chase, Jason – Bijan Robinson, Mike – Christian McCaffrey
Andy gets things moving with Ja’Marr Chase which is an easy decision regardless of the format, but there’s an added bonus with the full-PPR element in this mock draft. Jason takes the first RB off the board, bypassing Saquon Barkley to take Bijan Robinson. For the third-straight mock draft, Mike takes Chrstian McCaffrey with his first pick.
Round 2
Mike – De’Von Achane, Jason – Tee Higgins, Andy – Garrett Wilson
Mike kicks off the second round from the Ballers taking a second-straight RB in De’Von Achane arguing the upside with the full PPR makes him worth taking. With his second pick, Jason grabs Tee Higgins to balance his roster back out with one WR and one RB through two rounds. Andy rounds out the second round picking Garrett Wilson to double up on WRs.
Round 3
Andy – Josh Jacobs, Jason – Chase Brown, Mike – Alvin Kamara
The third round was a RB round for all three Baller. Andy gets rolling, adding his first RB with Josh Jacobs, while Jason goes back-to-back Bengals taking Chase Brown. Mike’s decision to go with the lowest “high-T” starts taking a third RB in Alvin Kamara is an interesting start given the full PPR format.
Round 4
Mike – Josh Allen, Jason – DeVonta Smith, Andy – Terry McLaurin
Things begin to take a turn in the fourth round where Mike takes the first QB off the board in Josh Allen, leaving him still without a WR on the roster. Though there’s already been talk of Jason wanting to stack his Bengals duo with Joe Burrow, the Big Shimmy holds off on taking a QB with his pick and adds to his WR room with DeVonta Smith. The round ends with Andy taking his third WR in Terry McLaurin after being sniped from Betz who took Kittle just a pick prior.
Round 5
Andy – Joe Burrow, Jason – Jalen Hurts, Mike – Jameson Williams
When Jason mentioned wanting to stack his Bengals with Joe Burrow, he clearly forgot that Andy took Chase at the 1.01, allowing Andy to lock in one of the most deadly stacking combos in fantasy with his 5th-Round pick. Jason wasn’t too upset though, getting to stack Eagles when he picked Jalen Hurts at the 5.04. To begin rounding out his WR group, Mike takes a high-end upside swing with Jameson Williams.
Round 6
Mike – Chris Olave, Jason – RJ Harvey, Andy – Isiah Pacheco
To continue adding to his WR room, Mike kicks off the 6th-Round taking Chris Olave and betting on the talent over the situation. Jason grabs a rookie RB with upside in RJ Harvey, getting his third RB in this mock draft. Finishing off the round, Andy grabs his second starting RB in Isaiah Pacheco, predicting a return to the lead RB role after battling back from injury that led to a disappointing 2024.
Round 7
Andy – Stefon Diggs, Jason – Jerry Jeudy, Mike – Khalil Shakir
Andy gets things rolling in the 7th-Round with a value pick at WR in Stefon Diggs, while Jason uses his pick to take what he feels is an undervalued WR in Jerry Jeudy after his explosive finish to 2024. Mike rounds out the round for the Ballers grabbing a Bills stack Khalil Shakir as his third WR.
Round 8
Mike – Sam LaPorta, Jason – Jonnu Smith, Andy – Evan Engram
Round 8 was the TE round for all three Ballers. Mike gets his second Lion of the draft in Sam LaPorta, Jason gets his TE4 as the seventh TE off the board with Jonnu Smith and Andy nabs Evan Engram to finish the round out.
Round 9
Andy – Cam Skattebo, Jason – Tre Harris, Mike – Javonte Williams
With just three picks left in the mock draft for each Baller, it’s time to start taking homerun swings and Andy gets one of his in with rookie RB Cam Skattebo while Jason picks another rookie in Tre Harris. Mike battles with his decision, and, though it feels gross, decides on the potential upside presented by Javonte Williams in the Dallas backfield.
Round 10
Mike – Darnell Mooney, Jason – Michael Pittman, Andy – Rashod Bateman
The Ballers took a trio of WRs with their next-to-last picks of this mock draft. Mike got some of his “fantasy veggies” opting for Darnell Mooney’s involvement in the Atlanta offense. Meanwhile Jason took a swing at Michael Pittman and Andy grabbed the upside and new contract with Rashod Bateman.
Round 11
Andy – Calvin Austin, Jason – Jaylen Wright, Mike – Austin Ekeler
To round out the mock draft, Andy opted into the potential for an increased workload from Calvin Austin in the new-look Pittsburgh offense. Jason went another direction hoping for a better year two from Miami’s Jaylen Wright as the potential backup to Achane for the Dolphins. With the final pick from the Ballers, Mike decided for what would be a PPR value in Austin Ekeler.
