Targets Per Route Run Report: Week 10 (Fantasy Football)
Welcome back to the TPRR report. As a refresher, Targets Per Route Run, or TPRR, is a metric that quantifies a player’s efficiency in earning targets. For wide receivers, a target is the most important underlying metric to predict consistent fantasy output, so a player’s ability to earn these targets at a high rate is key. Historically, a 20% TPRR is a good minimum threshold we want to see, and the best of the best consistently see TPRRs north of 30%.
Let’s take a look at this week’s leaders, noting that TPRR is only part of the story. In most leagues, there are only five weeks left of the fantasy regular season. A bye week at the wrong time could spell disaster for teams on the playoff bubble, so players often become available as managers scramble for wins. The Browns, Packers, Raiders, and Seahawks are on bye in Week 10.

Week 9 Reactions
Cooper Kupp
Expectations were tempered for Puka Nacua in Week 10 after he re-aggravated his knee injury, but it was Puka’s fist that took him off the field. Cooper Kupp, to the surprise of no one, took advantage, posting his highest TPRR (35%) since Week 1.
Serious Flex Appeal: Courtland Sutton
Anyone putting their trust in Courtland Sutton (28% TPRR) was rewarded again in Week 9, as he has solidified his role as Bo Nix‘s number one target. The Broncos’ offense is still shaky and faces a tough test on the road against the undefeated Chiefs. Sutton should have enough volume to be a safe start in Week 10, as long as Nix and the offense don’t completely collapse.
Indianapolis Colts
Joe Flacco has already been named the Colts’ Week 10 starter, boosting the ceiling of Josh Downs, who only trails Malik Nabers and Cooper Kupp in TPRR for the season (full list below.) A note of caution, however, as the Colts have some tough weeks ahead, taking on Buffalo this week before heading to New Jersey to face the Jets in Week 11. Michael Pittman Jr. (16% TPRR in Week 9) has not posted a TPRR above 20% since Week 4, but his best games have been with Flacco under center.
Darnell Mooney Is a Top-24 Receiver
The Falcons’ passing offense ranks in the top 10 in yards per game, yards per attempt, passing completions per game, and just about any other passing category. Atlanta’s defense, on the other hand, has given up 20+ points in every game except the season-opening loss in Pittsburgh (18-10). Drake London (hip injury; day-to-day) should suit up against division-rival New Orleans this week, but Mooney’s role is secure as a preferred target of Kirk Cousins regardless of London’s availability.
Trade Deadline WRs
A couple more receivers were traded at the deadline, making the 2024 in-season WR carousel the biggest in recent memory. Davante Adams, DeAndre Hopkins, Diontae Johnson, Amari Cooper, and now Jonathan Mingo and Mike Williams were all moved in the last three weeks. Mingo and Williams have both failed to make an impact this season. Williams could provide an additional outlet for Russell Wilson, but his 8% TPRR for the season ranks 104th out of 108 eligible receivers. Jonathan Mingo hasn’t been much better (15% TPRR) and finds himself on a Cowboys team with a losing record and a quarterback about to hit the IR. Yikes.
