Red Zone Report: Week 3 (Fantasy Football)

As we begin the march towards the end of the first month of the fantasy season, fantasy managers are getting more and more data to help fine-tune their lineups every week! Finding players who are getting touches in the most valuable portion of the field may be the edge in getting the missing piece to turn a fantasy season around or pull way ahead of the rest of the league!

Let’s dive into the Red Zone Report from Week 3!

Week 3 Red Zone Carries

Bijan Robinson (ATL)

It has been kind of crazy to think that Bijan Robinson – one of the premier RBs in fantasy – went the entire first two weeks of the season without getting a single carry inside the red zone. What’s even crazier is the whopping 11 carries he saw inside the 20 for a week-leading 39 rushing yards inside the red zone in the Falcons’ Week 2 victory over the Packers. Robinson’s massive workload in the red zone is the highest number of carries any player has received inside the 20 this season in a single week and vaulted him up the season-long rankings to sixth in the league. With any hope, Robinson can continue to see work near the goal line if the Falcons offense can remain competent with decent QB play.

Javonte Williams (DAL)

The value that Javonte Williams brought to fantasy managers in 2025 came through his usage around the goal line in the Cowboys offense, and he has gotten off on the right foot to that kind of valuable work again in 2026. Williams has punched in a TD from inside the five in two of his three games this season. What is encouraging for Williams overall from Week 3 is his season-high of 98 yards on the ground that helps raise his ceiling when Dallas’ offense functions properly and consistently is scoring points. Williams’ steady usage around the goal line for the Cowboys should make him a regular RB2 for fantasy lineups with RB1 upside.

Jahmyr Gibbs (DET)

Easily the most consistent name we are seeing near the top of the Red Zone Report is Jahmyr Gibbs. Gibbs notched another 30 red zone rushing yards and two rushing TDs in Week 3 and currently sits tied for the league lead in red zone rushing attempts and is just one yard behind Derrick Henry for the lead in red zone rushing yards. What makes Gibbs special is he easily could have been on the receiving part of this week’s report due to his three red zone receptions for 26 yards and a TD. Hard to stop saying great things about the best weapon in fantasy, but we will likely see Gibbs mentioned as one of the elite fantasy seasons we have seen.

Ollie Gordon (MIA)

Usually a random player popping up on top of the red zone numbers isn’t something worth mentioning, but the season-ending injury to De’Von Achane makes the usage of Ollie Gordon much more interesting. Gordon made the most of his opportunities after Achane left the game, converting his lone carry inside the five for a TD. While the Dolphins offense isn’t one to get overly excited about investing in for 2026, Gordon should still be a waiver wire addition in most leagues, especially if he is going to get work around the goal line.

Week 3 Red Zone Receiving

Michael Wilson (ARI)

Despite the doubts around being able to follow up his breakout campaign from 2025, Michael Wilson has continued to be a consistent fantasy option to start the season. Week 3 saw Wilson draw his first five red zone targets of the season – the most he has seen in a single week in his career. Usually we are talking about TE Trey McBride getting the looks around the goal line, but if Wilson can begin seeing targets more often near the end zone, it can only raise his ceiling for fantasy rosters.

Luther Burden (CHI)

Fantasy managers got to see the Luther Burden that was hyped up all offseason perform on the field to the tune of 11 targets for 7 receptions, 61 yards, and a TD. What’s interesting about Burden’s output this week is the four red zone targets that led to the TD he caught. Burden outpaced the other pieces of the Bears passing game in the red zone, with Rome Odunze only seeing two targets, and both Colston Loveland and D’Andre Swift each only getting one. While the red zone isn’t where fantasy managers saw Burden succeeding during his 2025 late-season breakout, it’s encouraging that Ben Johnson is finding a way to get the WR involved in the most important part of the field.

Juwan Johnson & Noah Fant (NO)

It would not have been fair to mention only one of the Saints TEs, so we will lump both Juwan Johnson and Noah Fant into the same section here. Johnson and Fant combined for four receptions, 21 receiving yards, and four TDs in the red zone on Sunday against the Raiders. While it is likely this is just an outlier week for Fant, Johnson currently sits eighth in the league in red zone targets and is in a five-way tie for third in red zone receiving TDs (Christian Watson, Jake Ferguson, Cody White, and Noah Fant). Going forward, Johnson has cemented himself as an easy weekly starter at TE, and Fant has shown he is worth the weekly TD dart throw until he cools off.

Tre Harris (LAC)

An interesting name to keep an eye on that’s popped up on the Red Zone Report is the Chargers’ Tre Harris. Harris caught all three of his red zone targets this week for just 11 yards and didn’t get into the end zone, so he wasn’t overly fantasy relevant. What is interesting is Harris now leads the Chargers in red zone targets this season, ahead of Ladd McConkey (2), Oronde Gadsden (2), and Quentin Johnston (0). The LA offense has a lot to figure out before fantasy managers should be getting excited about starting Harris, but this is definitely something to monitor going forward.

Cody White (LV)

There isn’t a ton to talk about when it comes to Cody White, but the guy has caught three red zone TDs in two weeks on a team that is undefeated and scoring nearly 30 points a game. Until White gets more involved in the rest of the Raiders’ passing game, he is not relevant for fantasy, but his work in the red zone is worth noting.
