NFL Week 11 Weather Conditions (Fantasy Football)
We might as well address the snowman in the room. The five games played outdoors will all be in challenging conditions with the warmest game played in Denver at a relatively balmy 39°. This isn’t even including the game that was scheduled between Cleveland and Buffalo that was moved to Detroit. Ironically, there will only be trace amounts of snowfall in Buffalo during the initially scheduled time, but over 6′ of snow has dumped on Orchard Park over the last few days making snow removal impossible at that scale. As it is, the team was barely able to make it out of Buffalo.
I’d be lying if I said I didn’t want to write about the Bills game that would have been played in extreme wintry conditions, but I’m glad the game will be played indoors where Josh Allen and company can do their things unhindered. We saw a game with three pass attempts because of cold and windy conditions in Buffalo last year – we don’t need to see a similar stat line this year.
There is a bit of good news though. As luck would have it, seven games were originally slated to be indoors this week. With the Buffalo game moved to Detroit, eight games will be played indoors while winter blasts northern cities. In other words, this week could have actually been worse from a weather standpoint.
If you want to see the forecast for tomorrow in Orchard Park along with some pictures and videos that give you an idea what multiple feet of snow look like, scan to the end of the article.
As always, updates will be posted below regularly with a final look around 12:30 p.m. EST.

Fantasy Impact: So many things affect fantasy production like weather, injuries, and matchups. Sometimes the weather is so bad it does trump the other factors but this is a case where even though the weather is bad, the matchup itself is the dominating force. Neither of these offenses can be trusted against these defenses and the combination of wind and cold don’t help. Rhamondre Stevenson, Michael Carter, and the rest of the RBs from both teams are likely to receive very high volume giving them value, but I wouldn’t trust either QB or any WR not named Garrett Wilson or Jakobi Meyers and even they are risky flex plays.

Fantasy Impact: Jared Goff is just terrible in cold weather. Believe it or not, his game last week in the Chicago cold was one of his better cold weather games and he still failed to eclipse 15 fantasy points. Avoid him at all costs in cold weather, but Amon-Ra St. Brown continues to be a stud even when Goff faulters.
Daniel Jones is a conundrum in cold weather. His passing yardage is actually higher in cold weather, but his rushing falls off with only 88 yards rushing across six cold-weather games. These trends are likely the result of small samples but when combined with fairly breezy conditions, it would be wise to avoid Jones in all formats. Saquon Barkley is the only locked in start for the Giants.
