Welcome to the FanDuel cash game breakdown for Week 7 of the 2024 NFL season. This week, we’re targeting some high-paced game environments that offer a mix of solid floors and enticing upside for our cash lineups. With key matchups across the slate, we’re looking to build rosters around players in situations that promise steady volume, while also taking advantage of the duel late-swap opportunities with the Sunday night game still featured on the main slate. As usual, our aim is to lock in consistent performers at each position. Now, let’s break down the top plays to help you craft a winning lineup.

Quarterbacks

Jayden Daniels – $9,100

Washington comes in as eight-point favorites against the Panthers at home, setting the table for Daniels to shine. His passing efficiency has been superb all season, ranking sixth in adjusted yards per attempt and third in QBR. What’s notable too is the potential for even more production through the air, as his touchdown rate sits at just 3.6% despite having the third-best true completion percentage in the NFL. On the ground, Daniels continues to excel as expected, ranking second among quarterbacks with 53 rushing yards per game and already adding four rushing scores, also the second-best mark for QBs. This dual-threat ability gives Daniels a solid floor and ceiling combo, making him an enticing high-priced cash game option against a lackluster Carolina defense.

Jalen Hurts – $8,500

If you’re unable to fit Daniels in your lineup, Hurts is more than a fine consolation prize in cash. Hurts leads all quarterbacks with 11.2 rush attempts per game, providing a solid rushing floor. Although he’s only scored twice on the ground this year (fifth-most among QBs) we know the upside for rushing touchdowns is much higher given his role and the history of this team using sneaks at the goal line. Hurts has also taken a step forward as a passer this season, ranking in the top 10 in both EPA and true completion percentage thus far. Facing a Giants defense that ranks 29th in points allowed per play and 22nd in yards per play allowed, Hurts finds himself in a favorable matchup and is more than viable at a reasonable salary.
