Theo Johnson

Ruled out against New Orleans

Oct 16 11:08pm

Johnson (neck) has been ruled out for Sunday's game against the Saints.

A neck injury limited Johnson's practice participation Wednesday and Thursday, but he was a DNP for Friday's session before being subsequently ruled out for Sunday's contest. In his absence, Chris Manhertz and Thomas Fidone are candidates to step into the TE2 role behind Isaiah Likely. Johnson's next chance to play is Week 7 against the Texans on Sunday, Oct. 25.
