NFL DFS FanDuel GPP Picks: Week 6 (Fantasy Football)
Building winning GPP lineups is tough by definition. However, there are a few key things to look for when filling out your roster. First and foremost is ceiling. We want players with the potential to score the most points. Next is leverage. We want the players who can take advantage of what the rest of the field is doing. Finally, we have to build a lineup that tells a winning story through game script and stacking.
Every week in this article, I will highlight my favorite FanDuel GPP picks at each position for the main slate of games. It won’t be an exhaustive list, but it aims to give you a starting point and a way of thinking as you build your tournament lineups. But don’t stop here. As Sunday kickoff approaches, make sure to utilize all of the other articles and tools from the amazing team that contributes to the DFS Pass.
Let’s dive into Week 6.
Quarterbacks
Note: As always, check out the QBs in the Cash Picks article. This week, I particularly like Jacoby Brissett at just $7,200, with a low projected roster percentage in a potentially high-scoring game. You can read more about him in the Cash Picks article.
Josh Allen @ LV – $9,500
Fantasy football’s QB1 is playing in the best game environment on the slate, featuring a 53.5-point over/under and 4.5 Game Pace Score (GPS). Buffalo is favored by 4.5 points on the road in Vegas, giving them a 29-point team implied total. Allen, who has already thrown for seven TDs and rushed for eight more, is likely to be responsible for most of those points if the Bills hit that mark, especially against a Raiders defense that has allowed the third-most schedule-adjusted fantasy points to QBs. Yes, he is expensive, but there are fewer options to pay up for at other positions on this condensed slate.
