Ja'Marr Chase, WR (CIN)

Still in protocol, not practicing Wednesday

Bengals head coach Zac Taylor said that Chase remains in concussion protocol and won't practice Wednesday, Paul Dehner Jr. of The Athletic reports.

Chase sustained a concussion in the first half of last Sunday's loss to the Jaguars and isn't certain to clear the five-step protocol in time for the Bengals' Week 5 game against the Dolphins. Tee Higgins (adductor) is expected to be a limited participant in Wednesday's practice, so if one or both of Cincinnati's top two wideouts are sidelined, receiver Dohnte Meyers and tight end Mike Gesicki could be in store for notable spikes in their target shares.
