How’d your your 2024 NFL Draft weekend go? Let’s just say it was one of the more memorable NFL/work moments I’ve had in awhile thanks to Michael Penix Jr.

The aftermath of the draft brings up an inordinate amount of questions, discussion points, and shifting focuses for fantasy football. Luckily, our Fantasy Footballers team was hard at work cranking out our post-NFL draft update to the Dynasty Pass. All of the following were updated:
- Dynasty Startup Rankings
- Rookie Rankings (1QB & SuperFlex)
- Trade Targets
- Team Opportunity
- Risers & Fallers
- Post-Draft Rookie Mock Draft
Dynasty Startup Rankings
With the landing spots of 11 QBs, 19 RBs, 35 WRs, and 12 TEs added from the NFL Draft (along with a number of UDFAs), we can now see at the landscape of dynasty leagues a bit more clearly. The startup rankings are filterable through the Ballers consensus ranks along with 2QB/SuperFlex formats. Keep in mind that the strategy behind SuperFlex varies across each Baller including Mike who has a philosophical stance on waiting on QBs.
Rookie Rankings
Andy, Mike, and Jason put their heads together to give their rookie rankings for your upcoming 2024 rookie drafts.
Mike’s Dynasty Trade Targets
Mike “The Fantasy Hitman” Wright does a clean sweep of some of the dynasty targets he personally is targeting in his leagues. After the NFL Draft, he added four more veterans to this highly exclusive list. Any player you might be trying to acquire or trade away in dynasty must be contextualized to your specific league and your specific team. However, here are some guidelines to follow for trade targets.
Trade For
- this player might be undervalued in your league relative to the trade cost it would require
- this player might have an upside case that is not considered by your fellow manager
- this player’s opportunity in their offense might be opening up more in the future
Trade Away
- this player could approaching an age cliff related to their dynasty lifecycle
- this player’s efficiency metrics might not be sustainable
- this player’s fantasy production is replaceable & therefore trading now at-cost makes sense
Team Opportunity
All 32 NFL teams were updated reflecting their current rosters and the rookies added in the draft.
Here is a preview of the New York Giants team section. No pass-catcher on the team saw more than 80 targets in 2023 and they were the only team without a player surpassing 21% TPRR. No. 6 overall pick Malik Nabers can step into a situation with ample opportunity and solidify himself as an alpha right way.
Risers & Fallers
This list was updated after the NFL combine and once again after the NFL Draft. Dynasty is all about perceived value and with NFL draft capital and landing spots now solidified, we can see who moved up and down in people’s minds. Value in dynasty leagues
Post-Draft Rookie Mock Draft
Our writing staff got together along with Andy, Mike, and Jason for a three round 1QB mock draft with commentary on each pick. The goal was to showcase the upside case for each player and their fantasy outlook heading into 2024.
