Injuries and players missing time for other reasons are always a big deal in fantasy football but even more so in DFS where one player’s issues can completely alter an entire game and the next man up mantra becomes vital due to the salary cap nature of DFS. Thus, it’s important to stay on top of all the injury and suspension news before locking in your DFS lineups.

Here are the most relevant players on the main slate in danger of missing time or returning to action in Week 14:

OUT for the Bengals: Joe Mixon
Upgrade: Giovani Bernard
Gio is a lock this week. You just can’t pass up this much guaranteed opportunity at such an affordable price. With Mixon going down, Gio saw 16 opportunities last week, by far his highest total of the season. Remember, Jeremy Hill is already out for the season. The volume trumps the tough matchup in this one.

OUT for the Packers: Kevin King
Doubtful for the Packers: Davon House
Upgrade: Josh Gordon, Corey Coleman, and DeShone Kizer
The Packers look like they’ll be without their top two cornerbacks this week. That’s exciting since the Packers already rank 12th worst in pass DVOA and have allowed the seventh most passing yards in the league. Thus, after seeing 11 targets in his first game back, Josh Gordon is basically a cash lock this week. Corey Coleman is on the tournament radar. And DeShone Kizer is also an interesting tournament option with a Kizer/Gordon stack fully in play.
