Smaller slates make for great opportunities to win big in tournaments and that’s exactly what we have here with four games on tap for Wild Card Weekend. When building multiple lineups, it’s important to differentiate our exposure in order to cover our bases and give us a higher likelihood of finishing at the top of the standings.

Of course, this doesn’t just mean throwing different players in random lineups and hoping for the best. Our process-based approach can give us a better chance of identifying a great lineup than our competition by using top-down analysis to highlight the best scenarios. Let’s take a look (All statistics calculated through Week 16):

Scenario 1: Saints Onslaught
The Saints are by far and away in the best spot out of all eight teams this weekend. While they might not necessarily have the best matchup, New Orleans’ offensive success has proven lethal. The Saints scored 458 points this season, which is 38 more than the next closest team playing this weekend. They rank third in points per game and ninth in yards per game and get to play at home where they’re 6-2 this year. Thus, when building out different scenarios, the first place we want to look is a Saints onslaught stack of Drew Brees, Alvin Kamara, Michael Thomas, and Jared Cook.
